  2. Again, thanks for your and help and Mr Foxes. I'll take a look but it seems I might have to take the boiler casing off. Anyway I'll give it a go before I commit to bringing in a possibly expensive professional.
  3. Thanks Deb. It's (obviously) dark now but I'll look for it tomorrow. Can you ask is there a sequence: do I bag the PRV then open the valves to the boiler to increase the pressure then take the bag off?
  4. You're not the only one and in afterthought, I don't even know why.
  5. This makes sense and I hadn't really thought about that aspect having read the article. Proven beyond all reasonable doubt is the only way. I understand now why the Scottish "not proven" is faulty and why that would not give closure. That said, the Timothy Evans case shows how flawed the system can be even though that was decades ago and I accept things have moved on. Edit: also why I cannot ever support the death penalty
  6. And there's the rub. The challenges are legal. Until they go through a lengthy process of bringing about a change in the law through Parliament to make them illegal, which is never going to happen.
  7. Does anyone know how to fix or reset an F1 low pressure fault on a combi boiler? The pressure keeps dropping and the F1 fault comes up. There's no signs of a leak from anywhere in the system that I can find, but I need to top up the water pressure daily. I did notice the pressure gauge was showing high when the boiler first cut out but then seemed to return to normal. I can't really afford an expensive resolution so hopefully there's a simple and easy solution.
  8. Maybe you need to assess the benefits of being part of the Commonwealth?
  9. "Its supporters argue that it reduces the risk of wrongful conviction – but critics say the verdict is confusing and fails to provide closure for victims". Is the closure for victims more important than a wrongful conviction? What if the person on trial was wrongly convicted and sentenced, and then several years later pardoned. How would that affect closure? If it's not proven then there's surely an element of doubt, but then could the judge decide on the balance of probabilities? Could that still result in a wrongful conviction? Potentially, I suppose.

  11. Victims won't deny an event. Perpetrators will.
  12. Oh dear!
  13. Is that the film where he barely spoke a word but his acting told the story?
  14. Weren't we all. Similarly "Perfect 10" by Beautiful South. To do with the female body image and, as I came to realise, penis size.: When he's at my gate, with a big fat eight You wanna see the smile on my face And even at my door, with a poor poor four There ain't no man can replace 'Cause we love our love in different sizes I love her body, especially the lies Time takes it's toll, but not on the eyes Promise me this, take me tonight If he's extra large, well I'm in charge I can work this thing on top And if he's XXL, well what the hell Every penny don't fit the slot
  15. Just grow older gracefully. It's clear why she chose that dress. Knocking on a bit and wanting the attention
  16. Raw prawns, undercooked chicken. Hopefully.
  17. It's not an unusual question and all paramedics will be asked more than once. There's no easy answer as all major trauma, serious medical events and so on carry their own shock value. Some will stick with me, others (the majority) I move on from. Personally I have recollections of many different things I've seen or dealt with. Sometimes they are memories triggered if I drive past a place where something terrible and shocking has happened. Other times I might pass an address which brings back the incident that occurred there. I think it's different for each individual as to what they perceive, and how or what they remember. When asked by someone what is the worst... I don't particularly mind, I just say there's quite a few and they're all different. I couldn't say there's a "worst"
  18. Correct FF. Over the years, I've attended probably hundreds of sudden deaths of all age groups and the only ones that have been suspicious, were exactly that. I could count them on the fingers of both hands. Those are the ones where the police seize our boots and uniforms and give us a tylex coverall to go home in and the police will check the body all over for signs of deliberate injury
  19. That's subjective.
  20. Somebody on a local FB group claimed a BILLION . Needless to say they were widely derided.
  21. I don't know where to post this as no football topics seems to fit right now but, Ronan Kemp is so much better than Robbie Savage on BBC 606. Easier to listen to, knowledgeable and genuine, not pretending to be a WUM. Just need to get shot of Sutton and replace him with someone who isn't biased
  22. So? As I said, hopefully game time will improve him.
  23. I did one once. For Blaby Town circa 1976
  24. At what cost? And for how long? The term "excellent" applies to the Schmeichels , de Gea, Allison, Cech and others. But I guess that depends on your own standards I have said I'd take him over Ward but that's a low bar. I want him to do well as I like seeing good GK's (I tried to emulate Shilton in my playing days) but for me, something is lacking. Maybe time and games will improve him, I hope so. All that said, Hermanson was poor today.
