I continue to be pleasantly amazed at the knowledge, intelligence and intellect on this forum. (Mostly)

Spanning the M42, I believe, not the M6 unless I've taken a wrong turn.

There's nothing wrong with Daphne from Scooby Doo when you're 13

We do support the club. It's the players who don't and they're the ones attracting the criticism and general disgruntlement. I agree we all should be supportive where it's right to do so, but we should also reserve the right to be critical, angry and frustrated when we see our club constantly being failed by the owner and the board. Also, you can't say "no matter what". Otherwise people like Ginetta hold an undeserved influence by the hierarchy because as long as those people feel reassured by what the LCSC spout, they won't listen to the rest of us.

Only with @Libertine. The rest were "observers".

And scroll back over the pages and it reveals a person out of touch even back then

Yep. That's a decent precis of the statement,
-
Ginetta's tongue must be licking Rudkin's tonsils from the ass upwards
-
That statement has certainly outed the happy clappers. Do you work to achieve success or just accept that failure and mediocrity is the norm

He's barely worthy as a high profile businessman. I would bet there's many, many skeletons in his closet. As POTUS and the most powerful man in the free world, he is uniquely unqualified. He has no qualifications in general politics, world politics, the political history of America, the political history of Europe never mind the long struggles in the history of Russia and the recent (in historical terms) breakaway countries that have, like Ukraine, become independent. Putin hates this, Trump only sees a business deal. His only standout is his ego and his paranoid narcissism.

Judging by what I saw his mum said, I doubt he's EVER been grounded or had his favourite teddy taken off him for being a naughty boy.

Several years ago I started a topic asking what posters imagined other posters looked like It lasted a while and some of the avatars and photos were quite amusing. Sadly I can't find it now. Found it. Although is archived now. https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/101804-do-you-have-a-mental-image-of-ft-posters/?do=getNewComment

We have made a considered choice to buy farm produced food, meat, veg, salad, fruit eggs etc from a farm shop within 30 mins drive. All the fruit is grown on site and the fresh meat is from local farmers and then prepared by butchers on site. The grain food like porridge oats and muesli is local in origin. They sell wines from UK vineyards, and much more that is not produced in huge factories/processing plants. It is more expensive, no doubt, but the quality and taste is so much better. And I feel like we are supporting local suppliers who need it. I know that we are fortunate to be able to afford these things and it's sad that the majority of people, even those that aren't on the breadline choose convenience before anything. And yes, I do still shop regularly at supermarkets but it's not the be all and end all. BTW, I like Clarkson's Farm as a bit of TV and I like how he has exposed the utter ridiculousness of the hoops that farmers have to jump through to meet the regulations imposed on them. As for visiting Diddley, I'm not a fan of going along with mass crowds just to be able to say "I've been there".

Sorry, Not a patch on the real Phil:

How are you watching? I can't find any links

Or maybe she's just a hater and a racist who genuinely believed she was justified, and not a product of every failure you mention above?

C'mon mate. He doesn't take risks. He is just inept. Being out of position as defender, losing the position/movement of an attacking player, hacking clearances to the opposition, turning his back on a shot at goal. Failing to cover a defender out of position, poor distribution from defence to midfield/attack. That's not taking risks. That's ineptitude, .

In Hesiod’s Works and Days, Pandora had a jar containing all manner of misery and evil. Zeus sent her to Epimetheus, who forgot the warning of his brother Prometheus and made Pandora his wife. She afterward opened the jar, from which the evils flew out over the earth. Hope alone remained inside, the lid having been shut down before she could escape. In a later story the jar contained not evils but blessings, which would have been preserved for the human race had they not been lost through the opening of the jar out of curiosity. Exchange curiosity, for "experimentation for the Good and as a by-product, Bad". Greek myth = No going back on history. What did they know back then?

I was born in 1955 10 years after WW2. Rationing had just ended 3 months before I was born. That for me is a cat's whisker from the subsequent effects of WW2. It also makes me feel very old.

Is there any other player in our current squad who exudes greater arrogance than WF? I can't think of one.

Yet another mis-spelling of his name. I saw him called Fatuwa in another thread. It's really not that difficult. It's not like it's a Polish or Slovakian name with 8 consonant and 2 vowels.
