England Internationals - Andorra and Serbia
RonnieTodger replied to Leicesterpool's topic in General Football and Sport
The only England games worth watching are away at moody places like Serbia and Greece. There’s no jeopardy in qualifying anymore. Growing up there was those vital qualifiers against Italy, then Croatia and Russia years later. -
Premier League 2025/26 Thread
RonnieTodger replied to OntarioFox's topic in General Football and Sport
Having watched a couple of MOTD episodes, I’ve realised I’ve completely lost interest in the Premier League. VAR is beyond the pale. PSR is shit. Players and their agents are twats. Can’t be bothered. -
So how are we all feeling now the window has closed.
RonnieTodger replied to Suzie the Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yep. I would’ve liked at least upgrades on Kristiansen and Daka too. Having said that, the three signings yesterday are all exciting and low-risk. The big sticking point for me is that unhappy players like Winks, Faes, Kristiansen and Soumare are still here. -

Very odd deal. Europa League football for him, though. -
Alves loaned to Huddersfield - Official

I really thought he’d play a part this season. Page has obviously leapfrogged him in the pecking order. Full season will do him good. -
Your dad will call him James Jordan all season
-
Suarez at it again. Just wish someone would break his legs.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Yep. I’ve read the books and while I think they’re overrated, the film just has zero depth compared to them. Felt very rushed.
-
Just watched it. Really, really bad.

Feyenoord are in the Europa League. Mad move for him, but interesting. I’d never heard of Cremenose, but Serie A is nice. Beats sitting on the bench for Wolves or Palace.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Well aware of that, thanks. They’re still pretty hefty fees for two players that weren’t able to steer Southampton to more than 12 points. -

Staggering. They got big money for Dibling too. They got 12 points ffs. -
How many before 19.00 BST Monday 1st September?
RonnieTodger replied to davieG's topic in Transfer Talk
Hope I’m wrong, but I just don’t see us signing anyone. We’ve had months to sign players and all we've managed is a free 38 year old GK. We’re not even linked with anyone. I don’t think we’re trying. -

Crap fee if true -
Kone has two goals for QPR already
-
Materialists is one of the worst films I’ve ever seen

Speaks well. Got to be our most eloquent player.

G1 getting involved is great.
-
It really is falling into place

Ipswich’s recent recruitment reminds me of us 2011/12.

As if Martin at Rangers would be anything other than a disaster. His hair, his dietary requirements and his loan spell there, all set him up for failure before you even analyse him as a manager. I have never known a man whose sides get routinely battered like him. Even when he got Southampton promoted, they lost 5-0 twice .
-
We got battered in that Randers game. Made our win at Charlton look routine. Legia were bottom of the Polish league at the time of the result.
-
Great that ITV had that game
-
Mepham would’ve been ideal for us. Not signing Mee on a free in 2022 was a big mistake. His legs are gone now though.
