  1. Great result for Lando this is the one he wanted, elated for him, feel bad for Oscar as he deserved it on the day but was robbed by dodgy FIA stewarding, Nico the story of the day.
  2. YES NICO!!!!
  3. Ferrari are the first team in history to build a car faster on the gravel than the track
  4. Think hulk needed to go softs
  5. This might be the first time I’ve got a prediction right ever 🤣 Alonso/George lap 38 then everyone piling in lap 42
  6. Huge gamble from Alonso I fear they’ve made a huge mistake
  7. Apart from the regular annoying wet race safety cars that break up the race flow, the racing has been brilliant today
  8. I’d love to see Lewis get a podium today, but if it comes down to a choice between Lewis and Hulk, I’ve got to go Hulk, I’d love to see him covered in champagne after finally ridding himself of his unwanted record. 238 races without a podium for such a talented driver.
  9. Harsh on Yuki too. Stewards have had a bad day
  10. Jesus Christ I’m worried I might get a penalty in a minute
  11. I thought Lewis was going to take it when Oscar made his error but just couldn't keep it clean enough. That Ferrari had pace though, 0.55s up coming into the final 4 corners so lost a ridiculous amount of time. Max once again driving the skin off of his car, if it does rain tomorrow I think it will be a 1-2-3 Max, Oscar, Lewis.
  12. I wrote down loads of notes to cobble together a sort of tactical analysis of Rohl's system over the past 18 months for if he signs and the sort of things he has picked up from Red Bull, haven't bothered yet as I'm probably not eloquent enough to create a proper analysis and the long, dead silence from the club is concerning.
  13. Given Enzo has spent over £400m since arriving at Chelsea and still wants more money to spend, and the fact he took over a massively bloated team anyway, we should probably be looking to take some of their academy/reserve players on loan with options to buy, because they won't be getting any game time under Maresca.
  14. Jesus Christ Enzo. How much money do you actually need? He arrived at a team brimming with talent, one of the biggest squads in world football and has managed to spend £400m STILL wants more signings. Nelson will be a £30m defender next season, Chelsea can come back in for him then.
  15. Whoa whoa whoa don't be lumbering me with the blame, this is a fan effort, if he's bad we all take collective responsibility
  16. They do get a lot wrong, but if they do go and sign Rohl they should be given credit on this, the rumours were they offered it to Martin and then withdrew once they saw the backlash, and imo I genuinely believe that if Rohl signs it’s because of a fan led drive to make it happen. I don’t think the club would have been lining up Rohl as the main candidate given their obsession over pep ball. If my opinion is right, the club have finally listened to fans. It doesn’t absolve them of the radio silence since relegation and the mistakes that took us there, but it atleast shows us we can have an impact if we all pull in the same direction.
  17. He passed that test to buy his stake in Crystal Palace. Not sure if it’s sarcasm or not🤣
  18. Rumours are it could be John Textor, the guy who took Lyons perilous financial position in 2022 and overall oversaw a further decline in the clubs financial health despite increasing revenues, we are talking about SWFC therefore this is pretty much nailed on to be the buyer
  19. Yep, that's sort of how I expected it to be, i'd heard that some staff and some players had been paid wages in June for their may payments, so it only made sense that it was those who had sellable value getting paid, including Rohl.
  20. Yep, most of the rumours from media seem to be based on hype and a pretty obvious link that Rohl wants to leave and we need a manager. LCFC have a tight wrap on most things these days.
  21. Right, but my original comment referred to a German club "pulling the trigger", which could happen at any club at any moment, I was more just referencing the fact that we are holding out for a cheaper deal which is understandable given the situation we are in, but it would also be very us if us holding out from £5m, to 2.5m, to now £1m, and then holding out for £500k, then hoping he can get out for £0, only for a German club to have a fall out and sack their manager and gamble on Rohl, not really sure what we are debating here, just a hypothetical scenario that would sum this club up at the moment. We will hold out to save £500k and end up having to spend more than that on a Rohl alternative.
  22. Doesn’t need to be Bundesliga though it was just an example, he’s clearly a manager with a higher ceiling than us and there could easily be a fall out at a bigger club behind the scenes and they decide to take a gamble, it would be very Leicester city to lose out last minute because we were delaying until the final moments. We’ve spent years throwing money at anything that looked at us and now we are in a mess and desperately need to make a decision to gain some stability and the club are haggling over a torn fiver. I get it though, I suppose any time is better than never to start looking after the pennies, but I’d rather we just got this over the line and sacrifice a few hundred thousand from the transfer budget.
  23. I don’t think that rumour is true, but it would be the most Leicester city thing ever to haggle over £1m only for a big German club to pull the trigger and get in contact with Rohl, and we then end up going for Dyche and have to pay him higher wages that end up costing us more than the £1m we were haggling over. Just get him through the door. Rohl is worth far more to this damn club than the difference between buying a £5m player and a £6m player. If they are indeed waiting for him to somehow exit even cheaper they better have a pretty concrete assurance that he wants to come here.
  24. Absolutely awful, thoughts with his family, recently married and 3 young children. Fantastic player that you’d love to have in any team, played us off the pitch a couple of times.
