  1. Don't. Just don't do this. It's all I have
  2. So what is everyone having for dinner tonight?
  3. Fixed it for you
  4. If we offload Rudkin that will go down for PSR as a saving of approximately £130m of wasted money over 3 years
  5. When Dean Smith comes back next week Okoli will start
  6. And to think most of FT were turning their nose up at Moyesy, he's absolutely lightyears ahead of this club. Top 6 manager in the league.
  7. That’s what I meant! Soyuncu was rotting on the bench or dropped from the team entirely under Rodgers and so many were watching us lose week after week calling for Soyuncu wondering what he had done to be treated like that, Dean smith comes in and Soyuncu is instantly our best defender and I’ve no doubt we would have stayed up if Soyuncu had played 38 games
  8. This screams Soyuncu 22/23
  9. All things considered I think we’ve been good this half despite the scoreline
  10. Yeah I think that's likely what we will do if we get desperate, but that would also be just peak Leicester City where we end up paying out a few million to a player in wages when he's not even registered
  11. I don't know why, but I think Alex Ox could actually do well for us this season, on paper I'd say he's a disaster and we should steer clear, but I just have a gut feeling he would come here and put a good shift in. Could we do better? sure, but if it comes down to it and we can't get our targets and by some miracle we shift Edouard, i'd take him for a 6 month loan.
  12. He was the same last season, I really couldn't understand why everyone was hyping him up so much, first 15 games he was playing really well and looked a good buy, the following 30 games he was bang average he just looked good because he was integral to Marescas horse shoe system. 3946 passes attempted, 2342 of them were siteways, less than 200 were "long" passes. 3074 passes were sideways or backwards, that's 78% of his total pass attempts. He kills any momentum. EDIT: Added this seasons stats for comparison: 859 attempted passes 303 forward, 94 backward, 462 sideways. 66% sideways or backwards. Long pass accuracy down to 53%.
  13. To be fair with the Ramos call, it's HIGHLY unlikely, but he did play almost 100 games with Ruud and has said he can see himself as a coach/manager once his career ends. 6 month deal then fast-tracked to the coaching team, badges funded by the club?

  15. No he was a Cooper signing
  16. One thing I loved to see today was when Vardy was subbed off, he made sure to take time to speak to the ref as he was walking off (No doubt to delay his exit) then as he came off the pitch, he properly rallied Buonanotte and Daka to get out there and perform. That is the kind of Leadership we need every single week, Roy Keane like standards.
  17. I've been on and off the fence for the last 7 games, today's lineup made me feel sick given Spurs play a high line and can't defend. Today Ruud made some decisions I disagreed with such as taking way too long to make a change on the left, and bringing Daka on a bit sooner. Still, overall the players showed more fight today than the last 7 games combined, and seeing how they reacted to Ruud at the final whistle, it's clear the majority at least are very much happy to work under him. Do I think Ruud can do a job and build us back with a points deduction and no budget should we go down? The Jury is out. I feel we are suffering with an issue Maresca would have had also, where the football we want to play works at big clubs with better players, but with our lot, and with an injury crisis in key positions, I've been disappointed that Ruud has stuck with the same system pretty much week in week out, it really did strike me with flashbacks of Maresca refusing to change even when it wasn't working. Today it did. Am I confident this is a corner-turned? No. But as I've said even when I've flip-flapped between Ruud out and Ruud in, there are few managers I want to see turn it around more than Ruud given how much I liked him as a player. I need to be more measured going forward, in 3 days this weekend I've been Ruud in, Ruud out, and Ruud in again, this is an emotional season with everything that's going on, and I should probably reflect on being less reactionary going forward, we desperately need signings, but if the players apply themselves how they did today, and Ruud continues to grind out results, I'll be happy to take a punt with him should we go down. We as a fanbase need someone to get behind, at Sheffield Wednesday, Danny Rohl has created somewhat of a bubble with himself, the fans and players, and they have a siege mentality whilst the circus of an owner and board are doing everything in their power to undo progress, we need the same here, for the mess Top and Rudkin are creating, we need RVN and the players to put all of that aside and do a Neil Warnock on the pitch. Ruud took a big step towards getting a lot of fans back on board, we need to continue this. Absolutely zero passengers Ruud, "no Christmas presents" and a siege mentality to fight for the badge.
  18. I completely agree with everything you've said, and have to admit this season I have fallen into the trap of judging everything with a narrow view. But I would say, a front 3 of BDCR, Ayew and Vardy probably wasn't that wise vs a Spurs side who play a high line and can't defend. Both Ayew and BDCR showed fight today though, and that's what I've been calling for since Ruud arrived.
  19. That’s it, and I think that’s why a lot of us have been turned over the last 8 games. We improved generally on the ball, but the fight completely disappeared when Ruud turned up, it was lacking under Cooper but we collapsed after he left. Multiple players went straight over to Ruud today and celebrated with him, if the players show they are fighting it becomes so much easier for fans to get behind them. Mistakes can often be forgiven, lack of effort cannot.
  20. Also, the dark arts were risky today but in the end, Ayew, BDCR and Jakub bought us time and broke up the flow of the game, was really worried it would have been 10+ added on, in the end 7 mins was manageable, well done to those players, we need to get more professional and sometimes that means the dark arts of time wasting.
  21. I'd keep BDCR on next game, but I do feel like Ruud needed to bring Mavididi on at the 65-70 mark.
  22. Seeing Ruud post-match there was inspiring, players going straight over to him to hug him. I don't think my brain can take much more of this roller coaster, Friday I convinced myself to be Ruud in, saw the lineup and was Ruud out, post match I'm Ruud in. Maybe I need to be a bit less emotional and reactive.
  23. We NEEDED this today, generally a professional performance, we still lack the attacking quality in the final 3rd but the goals were taken and we cannot complain. I'd love to say this was a corner turned, however I can't help but feel this performance had an aura of Steve Cooper about it, we ground out a touch result but I just don't know if lessons are going to be learned. The starting line up was grim, but I was happy with elements of BDCR's play today and although he didn't set the world alight, he did his job and put in a professional performance. Ruud needed this, we all did, now we desperately need a couple of signings through the door and we might just be able to do this, as it stands are out back out of the bottom 3, considering how awful we've been for 7 games, we are very fortunate, it's between the bottom 4 and nobody else at this point, and Wolves have a better squad on paper, this fight is about who of the bottom 4 have the heart, grit and fight to survive. Soumare was often classy today, can't wait to see him when Ndidi gets back. Ruud has bought time today, we need this squad to rally together behind him and fight for every single ball.
