I think our fans could forgive the odd misstep but there are now litanies of terrible decisions, incorrect priorities and awful choices, yet the same faces remain.. No one is being held to account, and no one, seemingly, seems bothered at board level . The owner has the thinnest skin in football so appears to have surrounded himself with yes men and women.. There is no introspective review, no restructuring, no desire to change.. It feels as if the club is now decades behind the savvy operators who have found a home in the Premier League . I don't expect the club to be in constant comms with us, I appreciate there has to be a degree of opaqueness, but we appear to be moving at a glacial pace in what is a very important season, a predicament we find ourselves in as a direct result of our boards' complete ineptitude.. The James Maddison "we'll be fine" tweet seems to be emblematic of the laissez-faire attitude that has got us in this mess, and will stop us getting out of it..

I'd be genuinely gutted if our insistence on playing absolute gimps has meant we'll never see this lad get a chance.. **** sake..

Maisie Adam is really good though, she's always been a great guest on any podcast / show I've seen her on, just seems to enjoy it.. Ania Magliano has the most irritating voice on earth, not a huge fan of her.. The others will be a laugh, I think.. Phil Ellis is quite a funny bloke..

They weren't "imperious in the main", we kept 5 clean sheets in the 21 league games in 2024 that season.. They were great first half of the season but ridiculously fragile (borderline bad) in the second half of it..

Weird one, I don't rate him at all and wouldn't be able to pinpoint any obvious strengths, but he does seem to have done okay / well in nigh on every other environment than car crash LCFC.. You're going to have a ceiling to the type of clubs interested in you if your only managerial experience is England U-21s and some v brief caretaker spells.. We'd represent the higher end of club jobs Carsley would likely be in the mix for.. I think he'll stick it out and very likely get the England job at the end of Tuchel's contract, though..

I gave up a few years ago, Lucky Saint has always been the one for me.. You can tell the difference of course but if its a hot day like today I'd barely notice.. Think most NA lager on draft is broadly fine tbh!! Big Drop and Brulo beers are all quite decent if you dont want just lager!!

I do think a fair few overestimate Vestergaard's "dominance" at this level.. He was booked 13/14 times the last time we were in the division in a role that was borderline tailor-made for him.. Now he'll be another year older, another year slower, in a role that might not be completely aligned to his strengths.. Not letting him walk last summer was absolute madness..
