Looking at the fixtures, I’d be very surprised if either pompy or Oxford overtake those 2 now. So it very much looks like they are the 2 we have to rely on falling short.

Depends on the other situations as well. I’d focus on getting souttar fit and a contract for Nelson. Just don’t think another aging cb should be our focus, but for now he’s got a huge role to play

So not sure we can really blame anyone for letting someone who does take them and has a decent record be the one taking it. just my opinion and easy to say in hindsight he shouldn’t have taken it

The JJ should take it because he’s the best players is the same logic that we used to let Madison take the Everton one. We have no idea if he’s good at pens because we’ve not seen him take one

If we were to start like this, when daka inevitably gets subbed, I’d love us to try mukasa out. Throwing him straight in might be a bit too bold, but give him 30 mins and see if it works. Because just imagine how much more fluid we would be. I don’t like James in at 10 particularly, but if he was with a false 9… that potentially just means he gets into even more goal scoring positions which could only be a good thing

In many ways our frustration with faes this season is misplaced. He wanted to leave. We wanted him to leave. Yet again the club fluffed that and we end up resenting him and him us. But the villains here are the club that can’t seem to do what is best for the club and in this situation everyone involved. There’s never been a more obvious get a player out a club than faes and yet we drag it out and end up with him hanging around

I think we quite comfortably have the best fixtures... but we are also going to quite comfortably get relegated still That bottom table makes the most sense to me on paper. But theres a slight chance southampton and hull get some wins against oxford and they lose this patch of form. I personally think we need to win 4 games to stay up. portsmouth, blackburn are essential, shef w as it should be the easiest and then find a win in the others.

Nah, thats ludacrus. They cheated the rules for years to win titles. The premier league released a statement when Everton were first charged saying that a fine wouldnt be suitable because it wouldnt prevent people breaking the rules in the future.
