If we want league 1 ready I wouldn’t be surprised if Sam smith is available. Wrexham consistently try and upgrade and he has only started 12. So looking at him; I think they will upgrade in that area and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him made available. He may go to a lower end championship team but my guess would be we would have a reasonable chance of getting him.

In all honesty I was still baffled by the numbers. I think the reality we all kind of ignored was that the return to prem wages alongside the prem increases for the new boys essentially used up all the tv money before we got started

Remember how it always used to be seen as the playoff final was the most financially rewarding game in football? reality now is that it costs more to go up than to stay put. We all thought prem football secured our financial future and it was imperative Enzo got us up…. But it resulted in even bigger loses.

Entirely depends on what coach you bring in. No matter the division certain people will always stick with proven. we need to hope the club push the need to utilize youth from the very top but we won’t. Because every year is just a desperate attempt at something.

Just read an article about our failed challenge, it kept mentioning an alternative punishment of 9.6m which we also challenged as too high. Can someone clear this up, could we have taken the fine? Please tell me we didn’t actually chose the points over 10m that would go down as one of the dumbest moves we’ve ever made. But if it’s not an option why did we even challenge it?

He’s also desperate for a good manager. He has all the tools to be a top top player. But he seems to just be skipping the basics this year. Very much in the ‘best player zone’ so just seems to hit absolutely everything. Which is understandable given how bad the people he has to pass to are. But still frustrating to watch non the less. you can imagine how effective he could be if he was being coached to make the pass at the right time because he gets himself in great positions. In a well managed side with support around him you’d imagine he would be incredible. But for us he mostly has to pick up the ball and run the length of the pitch. If I was a winger I’d spend my life watching video of mahrez because I don’t think we’ve ever had; or will have again a player that consistently would just make the right decisions when they got the ball. A great example to players of just because you can shoot, doesn’t mean you should.

Frustrating because he randomly plays very well like that but follows it up with a lazy half assed effort. He only played well because he finally realized daka was winning that battle. He’ll do nothing again in the next game

I feel like you need to go down the same route as Cardiff. A promising number 2 ready to step up. not an ex player who fancy’s themselves… someone who’s been putting the work in. but the reality is, we’d be more likely to go for John terry than some promising coach working their way up. BBM should have just been given the nod with us from the start
