for me the yes’s are wilf, vardy and vesty. Simply put, if something is going right in football, you stick with it. The squad is back in a positive space and I think you want to nurture that. Loosing 3 of the players that got us back up by choice is a bad message to the squad. Particularly as all 3 were great. Vesty earnt his spot in the team and another shot at the prem imo. We make sensible offers for all 3 and if they don’t like the terms than we shake hands… but simply not offering anything would seem a little unappreciative. Against bmouth, vesty showed he will still be an asset at that level. particularly if we get someone with pace to play alongside him.

It should 1000% be Bristol City imo. Their manager implemented a similar style to us at Oxford and there was even rumours we were keeping an eye on him, The fact that Bristol need improvement means it would be a perfect location to play decent football but not be kept out the side by bigger names. He could make quite the name for himself at a club like that. -
I always rated Tammy. Absolutely worth a punt. The question is whether or not he’s ready to hit the ground running or if he needs time that we probably don’t have to pick up his game to previous levels.
-
didn’t it have to be starts? we wouldn’t have played him if that was the case… unless we want him.
-
couldn’t add any more to the poll but I think we all agree praet is off anyway.
-
I know enzo shares around the captaincy, but adding the armband to the kit is too far imo
-
wouldn’t make a lot of sense for him to go to villa. duran seems an excellent back up to watkins. Then there’s been a rotation in that in behind the striker slot, youri, bailey, diaby have all held it at various stages (albeit variations of the role) and they have buendia returning to fitness and jacob ramsey…. how would he get any minutes when they have those options
-
there is the possibility that leeds and southampton are still in the league though

As someone who lived in thailand, unless we did a man city and started competing to win every season, there’s no chance of picking up a fan base. Winning is the only thing that will win over the next generation and I lived there in the year we actually won the league. Awareness of us was there now but I didn’t meet a single thai fan. It’s more about Tops personal awareness in thailand than anything to do with growing the club. It’s essentially an advert for king power, so don’t fall into the “it’s growing us over seas nonsense”. If you bring a game to these places , fans might show up, they might even buy a shirt, but they aren’t going to suddenly dedicate a life to follow the club and anyone that might then say they support the club…. also supports one of the big 6 more.

disagree. Whilst i feel he deserved more of a shot with us this season, I don’t think he’d be ready for a big role in the prem just yet. Hes young, so another year in the championship could really improve him as a player. Let him hit 20-25 goals at a club then he’ll be ready!
-
clearly a huge lack of awareness on your part. Our team is no worse than any of those current sides, i’d argue were better than them already. Ourselves, leeds and southampton are all foundationaally stronger than those sides and our issue isn’t the gap but the financial situation we’ve put ourselves in. If we had a clean slate and the usual money to spend of a promoted club I would back us to comfortably avoid relegation. But that is our own doing and nothing to with the gap you’re talking about.
-
that’s a great way to force the club to give you 100k a week at 38
-
he said in response to “are you going to play for us next season” vardy” that’s on rudkin”… pauses… “and i knew you were all going to boo “
-
is that actually what would happen? hahaha
-
the answer is easily 13/14 but even looking past the fact that the team was special, we were at our best counter attacking. They would sit back and invite the current crop to attack and then rip through them on the break. It would probably end up 3/4 -0 prime vardy vs vestergarde and faes? deary me

got to enjoy the small moments in football or what’s the point of it all.
-
laughable that their manager got nominated and ours, norwich and west broms didn’t

Who do you want for next season in the PL
Lambert09 replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
wonder if we’ll do what we did with drinkwater and go after him because of an impressive performance . Great player and has bottle so i’d be happy with that. younger vardy vibes, can’t see it at 28 though -
Leeds till I cry?
-
i’d say he’s a similar player to kdh
-
you always feel underwhelmed by these but probably one that actually works out really well. More chance of him being a success than a 30m signing from france or italy, so why not
-
i came on to say this. If it’s not wilf, we will likely get another player similar to him.
-
if they are ‘doing it for charity’ then it should be a pay what you want. They can recommend £25 but it shouldn’t be fixed.
-
yet i felt like norwich were one of the worst teams we played. Definitely would have been my pick to play. West brom were really dangerous against us and i have my fingers crossed they will be able to see off leeds and southampton.
