For me decent innings from bausor, aluko, Nelson, page, skipp (good defensive work), alves, monga, Evan’s, ayews corners. Nobody else really stood out, but I’ll admit I didn’t pay attention for the whole thing. The young lads who won’t be involved need to get out on loan. Players like wanya and Golding won’t be anywhere near the first team so hopefully we let them go and develop

Did a little research on Kelman for what it’s worth and he had been loaned out previously and not done well. I guess it would be like criticizing a manager for not giving Chris Popov a start after his loan failure then him smashing it the next season…. Play on

My only concern is that looking at his most expensive signings in his career (most is only 4m) the majority have dropped in value according to transfer market. Theres no outliers who suddenly improved in value. im not sure how involved he is with recruitment and maybe not at all. But QPR last season were incredibly hipster in the type of signings they went for (they’re also broke) but that might indicate he was tapping into his wider knowledge rather than the club. Another slightly alarming thing thing would be that Charlie kelman went out on loan and scored for fun… while he persisted with a giant striker who scored 2 goals … hoping there is more to all of that then not giving the young lad a shot

I had a mad realization while I was laying in bed last night.. if we’d sold kdh to Brighton like was originally planned… we would have got moder in who is a mile better than skipp and would have been 10-15m better off. that Brighton deal was bad but letting us pick our own replacement was a million times worse
