They would know each other extremely well from the circle of Thai billionaires and the fact they aren’t a club we’ve worked with over the years for loans, friendlies or just about anything points towards there not being any relationship. possibly even see each other as rivals as wanting to be the Thai presence in football. We certainly aren’t doing them any favours right now

My gut tells me if the right moves don’t come we will lose Nelson and possibly players like alves for small fees. basically anyone advantageous from a psr perspective. id like the new manager to have some say in who we keep and move on. which hopefully might explain why nobody had jumped out the door already. We saw what Enzo did for players like vesty so who knows, maybe they can make a player out of someone unexpected. The problem with big name pros is that they often carry an ego. Which means they spend their life thinking they know it all already. There was evidence for all to see that ruud didn’t know much about us past or present and something tells me he wasn’t sat at home working overtime on new tactics or researching opposition. He likely relied fully on what he already knew. Andy King certainly wouldn’t have that ego and I’d bet anything when he gets a chance he’ll put as much work into being a success as possible. There’s a reason worse players tend to make the best managers because without top level talent you usually make it by sheer determination, work and using your head.
