The fans will have more of an idea than anyone else on the outside though. The only people thinking he would come, were ones saying it’s ’written’ Because we have them first. I think most just assume based on his character that he’s not going to want to go somewhere else it’s messy. It’s not shade at us, just a common sense theory that why put himself through that again? Our future seems bleak to most. They have no horse in the race, they know he’s leaving.

He salvaged his reputation with me at the end slightly. Weirdly he seemed to make better decisions after we’d been relegated than before. His tactics were always awful and squad selections also but I’m happy he tried to get some discipline back. I don’t think it can be underestimated quite how important his handling of Monga will be for this club. So for that I am grateful. Certainly didn’t deserve the cold shoulder and yet again the club has made themselves look clueless

Absolutely spot on. Assuming the best is always going to happen. I think his entitled upbringing has disconnected him from what work it takes to actually achieve those results. He’s a lovely guy but seems to live in rainbows & butterflies

It’s easy for king power to blame less tourism when it’s obvious the drop is not that large. What the real issue is, is that they made a terrible deal. They set an unrealistic threshold because they needed to guarantee their monopoly but didn’t analyze the market properly. Essentially if they weren’t smashing it at their highest levels they’d be struggling to make good money from it…. Incompetence as per.

He’s at least smarter than the average footballer. Definitely think the game has changed and being tough is no longer a requirement. Unfortunately our squad has been taking liberties recently and definitely needs a firm presence to get things back in line.

Don’t disagree with you on that at all. My post was more towards people that seem to not understand that it’s not people with much intel. The content is piss poor no arguing that, but some people seem to expect them to be able to address unrealistic things. it wasn’t my best post…. that’s why you should only write while taking a dump, not when sat in a meeting

I’ve got a sneaky suspicion we will get him. I really do. we can’t have been this obsessed with villas youth and not know about him. My opinion of our summer would flip dramatically if we got him. Hes probably going to end up at Wrexham or brum though. If you were in league one seeing him rip it, it would be hard to ignore him

The club and the social media are basically two separate entities. If there’s nothing happening there’s nothing for them to post about. They can’t go rogue and give us apologies because it’s just 2 old blokes who know as much as we do.

I think there would be a few games that had a team been watching they’d have seen the potential. The man city game in particular, I don’t think it would be too wide of the mark to suggest he was the best player on the pitch. It’s hard to know if he’s inconsistent or we were just dragging him down.
