I’d be surprised if forest don’t go for Giminez again after being close in the summer and now better placed to attract him
-
Hahaha I’m all for running the wrong direction and clearances going absolutely anywhere.

Survey from Athletic - re running of the club.

Anything to help put the pressure on the club. Seems to me like they are trying to give the fans a voice at a time of crisis and you lot are still not happy -
I did some digging and im right. He made some bad mistakes and fell down the pecking order and after a return from injury he found himself as 3rd choice rb meaning he wouldnt be getting any minutes
-
Hes been dropped recently and wasnt even in their latest squad. I think they probably informed the club he wouldnt be first choice and the club prefer he plays in our development squad.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I would say hes had a lot of bad luck, where as cooper received a lot of luck. We are exactly where we deserve to be in the table. The problem in a game like football is even if you are doing the right things, have the best game plan or individuals... the results matter. Lose when you shouldnt in one game and the team can shake it off, but as it continues players heads drop. We deserved points against Man City, Villa and Palace... had we picked them up then I think you have a different game against fulham. The fulham game felt like one where the players dont believe they can get a result and they werent helped by the terrible substitutions. Ordinarily this is the part of a cycle where a manager would lose his job but we are not in any place to do that and it feels like a lot of the pain for RVN is down to the mismanagement before he arrived. Hes not been great but we all can admit he jumped into a dumpster fire. -
What is impossible is to sign players that improve us that are already proven... the problem we have had for just about the last 6 years is that we moved into an arrogant big club mindset and only target established players. Most of the more unknown players weve gone for, are only unknown to general fans really, they are still very common knowledge in the football world. We wouldnt have taken a punt on Fofana if he hadnt had a blinder against PSG. We wouldnt have gone for faes if he wasnt a belgium international. We are transparent and are scared to actually take a gamble on a player. We go for someone like Soule when in reality we should have been going for someone like Phillogene. but our club ego is just too much. We are so transparent. The problem with us, we have to let someone like Atalanta sign a player like Gronbaek first, before we will decide hes now worthy of joining us. We are in the wrong part of the food chain and the club dont seem to have adapted to the fact that in our situation you need to make some educated gambles. I'll admit that im pleasantly surprised by Woyo as this is more the type of deal we need to be looking at, but our summer was tarnished by this arrogance imo. So much wasted time chasing unrealistic options.

We will do what we always do and scour the top 5 leagues outside of the premier league for an out of favour player who was decent once upon a time. Then throw a loan with an obligation if we survive. These players tend to become available at the end of a window when a club realizes nobody else is buying them

Weren’t we considering a 30m bid at one point because he was good at catching crosses

It doesn’t particularly matter whose opinion it was as the buck still lands on the DOF. They hired him and I’m sure knew his thoughts all along. If he was taking us in a backwards direction then the club shouldn’t have hired him. The worse thing to happen to a relegated club is to be laboured with overpaid, older players with no resale value… particularly one with financial issues. We are stuck with coady, vestergaard, BDR and Ayew for long past their sell-by-dates. The club allowing for so many senior professionals to end up on the books like this is grossly negligent, particularly in light of our experience with these types of pros in recent times. Especially when you consider we still have Jamie Vardy 38. Ignoring whether they are good at football or not, it’s honking business sense
-
It’s not the clubs fault imo. The whole psr system is grim for fans because the emphasis is all on revenue. Before a generous chairman who knows how little it impacts him on the whole, can afford to keep things reasonable. But now it’s so tied into what a club can do on a pitch that clubs are forced to get as much as they can to stay competitive… particularly as a club Brighton’s size flying too close to the sun

Jack Harrison is an absolutely amazing example of how you just can’t trust stats. His underlying stats always suggested he was just unlucky and that was always capable of good numbers…. Yet he’s never ever been close to delivering. There’s simply more to a mentality than stats can show
-
It sounds like Morgan Whittaker is leaving for around 5m. surely he’s worth a punt, bench cover for us, championship ready. Good age and great price. Makes too much sense I suppose
-
Is that Oliver skipp?

So Villa are pretty much nailed on to sign Balde from Sevilla. He’s a rcb and their fans seem to think that this probably means Konsa won’t even make their matchday squads. They will be looking to sell him after upgrading. If we are serious about surviving; this is exactly the type of opportunity we should be looking at. He’d improve us at cb, he’d improve us at right back and quite simply he’d probably instantly become one of our top 3 players

In the same way that a disabled person is just a meter away from standing up

Kinda want saints to get one more

they are going to sack him and have one heck of a new manager bounce next game…

Rudders & Whelan to review this season’s failings next week
Lambert09 replied to JimmyC74's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes I’ve had some beers, but in 10 years time how damn funny will it be telling the story about how when we got relegated we did an inquest into who was at fault and the findings were the goal keeping coach and some other nobody coach were the problems . hahahaha it’s honestly hilarious if you take a step back and think about it -
Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official
Lambert09 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
We could get the goal keeping coach to tell him, that he was the issue and that he got it wrong, so will personally be paying his salary ? -
Absolutely bang on, this is the first I’ve heard of any unrest. Usually this forum was saying what a fine fellow Rudkin and top were. Many said that jon was free to take their wives. we can’t get upset about one of history’s greatest falls from grace because it was only a few months back that we got to try a laarb flavoured biscuit
-
Vichai had a dream, for this football team, he won the league and now he’s one of our own but Top f *****d it up, and rudkins inept, relegation again , you made us sing that!
