Looking at the fixtures, I think we will be down before we even play , wolves, Southampton or Ipswich. We simply needed to gather points in the last 2 and it’s as good as ended it for us. Now we need 6 points from spurs and Everton to take in to a torrid run of games
-
Yeah I do agree on that, we completely wasted the window. But I’m not convinced we would have done an awful lot better with Enzo in charge, because his type of signings also wouldn’t have fixed the issues we had. our biggest issue and it’s clear as day, is the backline. If Enzo had even come in and targeted players , it would have been for their ball playing ability and we still wouldn’t keep out enough goals. Truthfully, the only type of manager who would have had a good shot at saving us was someone like dyche because we aren’t out playing any teams in this league, so the only real way, is to stop leaking silly goals and build from that foundation

I think we’d have had a strong start and probably slumped again when he got found out and some of the confidence left us. my guess would be we’d be out of the relegation zone but looking down at it expecting to be caught.
-
Funny that all the criticism about him was how lazy he looks yet to me, he is one of the few who seems to be putting everything in.

Jakob wojo. Nelson. Vesty. Justin Braybrooke skipp fatawu. Alves. Mavididi Evans (he’s a lw but surely better than Ayew) This is the best we can hope for with a transfer embargo and points deduction. It should be enough to at least be competitive but it will be a rough ride without a striker and better teams have stayed down

He’s hamza without the athleticism

I towed that line last week. but there’s no excuses today, this is beyond poor

Does anyone else want to try or is soumare playing on his own?

There’s lots of reasons we are bad… but a competent DOF would have signings lined up for these 2 must win games. Going into them with the same team is not acceptable what a waste

Who was the small winger sunderland signed who was awful then was in the national side smashing it. Something doesn’t translate with Italians and our football

Shhhhh ya daft cow -
If you could have one former player in this current side (in their prime). Who would you chose to lead us out of this current mess? im leaving out Kante as I think he’s always going to be the answer.

Last time Daka started, we lost 1-0 to Plymouth with the easiest chances existing being squandered. but sure …

What’s worrying is that this deal was a very late rush to complete… rudkin very well could have dropped our pants to get it done
-
Setting the scene to let man city off aren’t they? So they can use it to say, look nobody was punished. Absolute tarts
-
This deal is very risky from the club for a number of reasons. I understand you need to roll the dice sometimes but given that we don’t have a youth team striker standing out, a likely retiring vardy and a poor record of recent recruitment…. We might have to accept that next season we will be lining up with ayew for 46 games.

I hope not. genuinely predict him to end up as a championship journeyman. All hype

Comparing this season to 2014/15 Great Escape

But there’s something a little off with them as well still. They are one foot forwards then 2 back or at least it seems that way. Everytime I think, damn they’re going to get going, they seem to then have a bad game. If we hit form we stay up, because I don’t think any of the bottom clubs are capable of 3/4 good results right now. Especially if moyes doesn’t manage a new manager bounce . -
Are Southampton good or are Man U just shocking? doesn’t matter at the end of the day, we are toast. Time for the toast playlist
-
Now that our season is essentially over, we might as well build the team around him in preparation for next season.
-
Ah yes the classic Italian way, get an option inserted just in case their value increases whilst they are with you. if not, you know the bar for what the club would accept, after the loan haggling it down further or just walk away. he’s staying forever
-
I just really thought we’d win today. It’s hard to compute that we haven’t

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I don’t think he’s to blame. I think we’ve looked much better these past few weeks and yet something isn’t falling for us. I just think it’s the quality of the premier league and the standard of our back 5 right now. im still fully backing him
