Call me a conspiracy theorist, but how coincidental that it’s been leaked a club want a player we want but if we outbid them and sign him, they’d sign the player we want to get rid of. Wouldnt surprise me at all if boro are planting the seeds for us.

I like how he’s transitioning us tbh. He’s pretty hamstrung by the individual errors by players but the signs for me are positive. He just needs to be brave enough to play facundo and bilal and we will have a chance in games. best performances for him so far, man city, Qpr, and west ham … all involved both. Surely he can notice how much better we are with both.

Nice to have someone who takes cups seriously. Hear me out. I want my exotic unknown signings to be someone I’ve never seen play , other than a YouTube clip in a league where I have no way to truly judge their ability. And to live in a la la la land of hope and optimism from the day they sign until they first play for us. Then when they have a stinker I want to lambast the club for wasting money yet again. Then after 6 months of them not being seen again, I want to start a conversation about how they’ve never been given a chance and demand they get an opportunity. time will pass, my love for the player will grow and grow, I’m fond of his dog on instagram, then the moment comes he gets a chance in the league cup against shrewsbury. we lose 1-0 and I finally accept he was never good and he wasn’t just kept out of the club because he fell out with Luke Thomas’s cousin. To sum up dyche, earlier in the season against Fulham, Calvert Lewin does nothing, as he has all season. Beto comes on looks fired up scores a goal and rescues a point, had a great end to the game . Benched again the next game… Calvert-lewin again does nothing as he has all season… Beto comes on looks sharp again scores (but is unfortunately ruled out for one of vars reasons) …good overall game… next game back on the bench. I can never fully rate a manager that can’t recognize when a player is improving the team, through effort, form or just being better… you simply have to give that player a sniff. funnily enough it looks like Beto will leave now, but a good manager would have nurtured that bright patch and given him a proper chance to see what he could do. but dyche needed the long ball to dcl to keep him happy.

My point was that he has been known to be used for positive propaganda. Meaning, of course the club would want us to think it’s close. if we were safe, they’d know and the article would say we are clear. if we failed… it will say something like “it’s close”, it’s pr damage control. After all the trials, the club know the rules better than anyone, we would know ourselves if we were over or under the breach levels. We’re not waiting on a blind vote, it’s accounting ffs
