  1. Why has the crisp controlled passing from the first 20mins gone out of the Window again?
  2. Liking this new look team, we're playing some good stuff
  3. Nice to see Claude is mixing it up a bit. The lineup hasn't been working so it's great that he's making use of his options. Hopefully gives the team a bit of lift, and makes us less predictable for West Ham. Vardy's not above the team and hasn't been playing well, nothing wrong with dropping him to the bench to see if that helps the team.
  4. West Ham don't have the quality of Arsenal, so if we play like we did today we should be able to cope with them.
  5. Danny Simpson says hi!
  6. Who else was he supposed to bring on? By managing to get Nacho, Vardy, and Maddison on together from the start of the match, and letting Ulloa and Slimani leave in the summer, we literally have no one to bring on to make a difference in an attacking sense. Arsenal just have a superior squad, which showed today when the substitutions were made at 1-1.
  7. He doesn't close down like he did 3 seasons ago, and the team aren't able to play him in with the current style that we utilise. Maddison looked like he was playing centre forward at times today with Vardy off to the side.
  8. The owners are trying to build a sustainable Premier League club that can progress and develop over the next 20 years. They said recently that they would evaluate the clubs performance, in context of the season in general, at the end of each season. Puel is introducing the blueprint and background for what the owners see as a sustainable approach to a Premier League club that empathizes youth and player development. This should pay dividends in the future. As long as we don't start skirting near relegation, the owners will not pull the trigger regardless of one or two bad results, they will judge performance and the prospects of the squad at the end of the season.
  9. Lackluster and missing any venom in our play. Ndidi and Mendy are OK defensively but offer nothing going forward from CM. Amartey is barely a footballer. Wes was horrific again, and Vardy anonymous although he got very little service. We totally lack any killer instinct
  10. Puel taking Maddison off, our only creative player, when we're 2-1 down with 10mins to go /facepalm. FFS, sacrifice Ndidi or Mendy not Maddison!!!!
  11. Fuch sake Wes!! 5 yellows, 2 reds so far this season. Total liability, has to be dropped from now on.
  12. Need to bring Okazaki on for Nacho
  13. If Walcott had of played in that other everton player there rather than diving, it would be 0-2
  14. Kasper Amartey Evans Maguire Chilwell Ndidi Mendy RIcardo Iheanacho Maddison Vardy ------------------------------------------------------ Kasper Amartey Evans Maguire Ricardo Chilwell Ndidi Mendy Maddison Iheanacho Vardy Line up can flex between two systems depending on whether the team is on top or not.
  15. If only he was a bit more lively though. Imagine his pre match team talk: "remember zee tactic, Jamie.... I want to see zee quality..... Ben, reember zee intensity.... All, remember we need zee intentsity and zee quality, now go, show me zee quality" then he slowly claps them out of the changing room. I just can't see his personality getting the team pumped up for kickoff, and the teams performance at the start of matches seems to bear that out....
  16. Evans on, great sub from Puel! Comeback starts here!
  17. This is turning into a proper tonking. Grey, Chillwell, Morgan, et all, just not good enough footballers
  18. This ain't going well is it? Just have to keep it respectable now, now way a Puel team is scoring 3 or 4 in a match, let alone a half....
  19. Penno for Bournemouth, **** me!
  20. He does if he's a Leicester City defender and its 6 minutes into a 2018/19 Premier League home match!
  21. Bournemouth are our bogey team and I can see another hard match. Puel really needs things to start clicking to get away with anything more than a draw.
  22. Are you talking about for Leicester or England?
