Man City League Cup 1-1 - lost 4-3 on pens

To be fair to Puel, he had to rotate the team and use the squad. It's not his fault that the squad is paper thin. -
Will be disappointed if we don't put 3 past these....

Second best form in the league at the moment, only Man City have done better in their last 5, and we should make it 5 on the bounce on Saturday!!!

We'll always be in danger of having our best players picked off. If we want to progress we need top quality players, and if they perform well then the giant clubs will come sniffing.

It's going to be freezing at St James Park, it's been snowing and a 5:30pm December kickoff!

Will be disappointed if we don't put at least 3 past these...

He's not just our best ever striker, he is also Leicester through and through and the symbol of everything that has been successful over the past 4 years. The fact he turned down Arsenal to stay with us, he has pushed Linekar into #2 position of most legendary LCFC striker of all time!

"Due to regulations Leicester’s New Year’s Day game against Huddersfield Town will come too soon – in international transfers players cannot feature on the day they are registered – so Silva’s first involvement will likely come in the FA Cup third round that following weekend." They really are screwing him over with the rule book!!!

Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?

Imagine being the manager that drops Marhez, keeps Albrighton on, and keeps his job. -

Not to forget, Shakespeare basically has a team that another manager won the league with, and he is barely eking out a semblance of a performance and is leading the club into a relegation fight. -
Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?
jim5000 replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
Either Shakespeare either has no ability or authority over this team, or he has no idea about tactics. Refusing to change from 4-4-2, players in basically their 'correct' positions but no partnerships, teamwork, or understanding between the players, and no discernible tactic or identity. Completely the wrong line-ups, weak all over the pitch, and none of our signings able to get in because he doesn't know how to change the formation or develop the team. -

And if my auntie had balls she's be my uncle. He didn't score them, and he's not the leading goalscorer.... -

From Football365 'winners and losers' this week I do fear for Shakespeare, I'd love him to do well but he seems completely tactically inflexible with his insistence on sticking to 4-4-2 when we don't have the personnel for it, and he doesn't have any other answer. He's been unlucky with injuries but so have many managers, and in the Premier League you have to make your own luck. He's just blindly sticking to 4-4-2 and hoping it comes good. -
How we wont the league with that bench, it's ridiculous

I'm the other way round! I hate that chant, and anyone who sings it belongs in the 80s. It's so embarrassing to hear our fans chanting it!
-
He always seems to jog about the place, he is quick and powerful but as soon as someone is ahead of him, he just limply jogs along behind them and makes no attempt to get back into play or win the ball back. From what I've seen this season I'm not impressed, I don't think he plays at the intensity required in the Premier League and should be sold off.

Ndidi is everything we hoped Amartey would be.

You're right. The first half of the season has been a proper cluster**** and it's a bit harsh to judge the new signings when they've been playing bit part roles in a team without a midfield. At least Musa and Silmani have bagged a few.....
-
Has a touch of the Krameric about it. All the fans want to see what he can do, but for some reason, the coaching staff aren't seeing it in training. To have both Okazaki and Ulloa on the bench ahead of him, and both used, he must be thinking what's the point....
