  1. Have they started a topic on the Derby forum about the record yet?
  2. Is it just me or has every player who's spoken to the media since Cooper came in sounded absolutely bloody miserable?
  3. Surely you should have been 14 seconds late and had to wait 4 months for the next one?
  4. Awful news. Played such a huge role in our rise from the lowest point in our history to the highest, and always seemed like such a kind funny guy.

Call me crazy, but I suspect this Lamin Sillah might just be a different person to the Lamin Sillah on transfermarkt

He doesn't though does he? Do we have to have this bullshit every time we're linked with an African player?
  7. Monitored definitely. Restricted in cases where they’re promoting violence and violent attitudes yes. Men like Tate, they could bring the Brazen bull back and I’d still think he was getting off too lightly.
  8. Depends on the number 1s availability. We needed our backup keeper plenty in 2014/15, got through so many in League One that we were almost down to Danny Ward quality keepers.
  9. Iversen's wages will be significantly less costly than playing Danny Ward in the Premier League.
  10. God I hope Shrewsbury stick enough past Ward that Cooper never thinks to try him again.
  11. I'd say complete mismanagement for the entire first year is quite important really.
  12. I mean the total death toll here was higher than almost every other individual European country. As a proportion of our population the story is slightly better but still worse than the majority. We locked down way too late, and then we paid people to spread the virus.
  13. Presumably his current wages, and any wage he'll be getting to come back, are absolutely obscene. Would love to have him back but it's not exactly practical.
  14. I don't believe so, I think he's been polling above Biden for months.
  15. Your faith in the American electorate and justice system is warming but I can’t help thinking it’s misplaced. Donald Trump is winning this election, he was before yesterday and he still is. And he’s demonstrated that he personally is a huge threat to democracy in the USA, I definitely used to come down on the same side as you - that political assassination doesn’t achieve anything - but there’s some world leaders you look at and think ‘there’s no way this country could find someone worse’ As you say, it’s strengthened his position and serves as an excuse for him and his base to go further, which is an absolute nightmare. Appreciate this sounds hideously callous, but the timing is absolutely senseless and braindead. Doing this during an election campaign regardless of whether it was successful or not was always likely to help a pretty vile Republican party improve their chances of Presidential/House/Senate success. I’m not sure the act itself was senseless, just because Trump is a pretty unique combination of evil with the power to implement it, though I appreciate it’s a horrible position to hold.
  16. I don't think violence is the answer to political problems in general no. But I also think that Donald Trump is one of the biggest proponents of political violence (as well as many other abhorent practices and views) in Western Democracies, I'd be very pleased if he decided it wasn't worth carrying on.
  17. I wouldn't say killed no. But it would have been nice if it'd been serious enough to stop his political impact on the world.
  18. I don't know, it's a lot less disgusting than the thing I'm not saying but thinking very loudly.
  19. Haven't we as a society been doing that for 15 years with exactly the opposite effect? The more air time the bigots get the more it normalises their views for a large chunk of the population. They've had a disproportionate amount of air time over the years and it's led us here.
  20. If only Labour had won the endorsment of a few more drink driving anti-semites in Leicester South it might have been alright.
  21. They’re about the only party whose vote share is roughly in line with their representation in the commons this time aren’t they?
  22. Labour and the Conservatives have done nothing for the people of Gaza, neither of them will be getting my vote in the Gaza City South by-election
  23. I imagine they won't try too hard because ultimately the situation in the Middle East will determine whether those seats come back, which is absolutely incredibly stupid but it is what it is. It's not a problem the UK Government is in any position to solve or even particularly influence any more - but apparently it's the most important issue affecting Leicester South
