  1. I agree he’s been poor at using our youth players this season
  2. I think the club gave up on premiership survival a long while ago and probably even expected relegation this season. his remit may of been to give it a good go this season and then play a lot of the youth next season.
  3. I said a while back that I think Ruud was possibly brought here due to his successful stint as a youth team coach/manager, and that may be the route the club may look to take with regards to using the academy next season. From a financial aspect and a possible club reset, maybe that’s what it could be 🤷‍♂️
  4. You can blame RVN for picking ayew, BDR, faes and others but it’s always basic poor errors that cost us. this relegation is down to the owners and the board, Rudkin has the most important role at the club and he is inept and way out of his depth.
  5. They have to be full backs and centre backs as all of our cbs are woeful.
  6. For the city the mighty city patrick plays tonight the wimmer way, the wimmer way
  7. The only problem with buying players for the championship right now, is that we will be paying premier league prices. If the club had someone who could negotiate that if we bought players now for the championship, we would pay a certain fee and an additional fee if we stayed in the premier league ( don’t laugh 😂), but we haven’t. agree though we need hungry players with something to prove and that they and the club can both develop together over time.
  8. He did well as a youth coach at PSV, and at this rate in the championship we may need to play our youngsters due to the financial losses that relegation will cost us. To be fair to RVN, he has inherited a club with no money to spend, a poor squad to sect from and no preseason to work with the players. This whole season we have had 7 or 8 (at least) of our playing 11 all underperform in the games, you can carry 1 possibly 2 players under performing per game but no more.
  9. It is irrelevant who manages this team, it will take years to sort out our football club. we have no vision or blueprint for our current teams, from our u8 academy side up to our first team. we have wasted so much money on so many dross signings since our title winning season. The due diligence on these poor signings has been nothing short of woeful, I know not all transfers will be hits, but we have overpaid on fees and wages on them. The blame lays with the owners, they employ someone to sign off these deals. the club has no direction, a soft underbelly and inept people in place running our club. I will always love our club and regardless of what league we will be in next season or even in 5-10 years, we need to restart again and do things the right way.
  10. I posted a long while back that when we lost the likes of Huth/Morgan/Fuchs/Kasper, we started to lose virtually all the leaders in not just the squad but the starting line up. These types of players set the standards around the club with regards to professionalism, conduct, camaraderie, characteristics, mentality and also expectations of how the squad train and play. This is why Man Utd where a great team under Fergie but are no longer the same as they have lost those leaders and values. we need to get the right characters into the club from staff to playing staff.
  11. Not many managers would do well with the dross that we have available for selection.
  12. No your right mate they don’t just bid on anyone that has a good game against them, but to see a 20 year old with less than 6 months experience in the premier league, run the midfield against his side, that is highly impressive.
  13. I know JJ has been getting some deserved stick for his performances over the past 18 months or more, I agree with the majority of it but watching some of the goals conceded this season he drops into the central defensive positions to cover the glaringly obvious pace problems that we have with our centre backs. the 2 cbs seem to mark 1 man in defensive areas regardless of the number of attacking players around, that seems to suck JJ into the central area and this exposes his side of the pitch, as invariably the distance between him and the attacking wide player is too great.
  14. 100% percent guaranteed that pep noticed his display today and was impressed. Would be shocked if pep isn’t in for him in the summer, they have a few aging midfielders that will need replacing. we just need to somehow stay in this league and keep him another season and extend his contract.
  15. Shocking team and individual performances. no bite, no bravery on the ball and no effort given. Rudkin and the board…this is all on you.
  16. Premier league 1st team or in general any English league, regarding a 16 year old breaking into it? Jude Bellingham was in Birmingham’s.
  17. Liverpool have given those players a chance but Kelleher was signed at 17 from an Irish team and they bought Gomez from Charlton when he had already played 20+ first team games at 17/18 years old. so not quite like the ones you mentioned that have come through our academy.
  18. The luton player? I’ve mentioned him before too, think he would be class for us mate
  19. Onana replacement for them
  20. Let’s bring in Xavi 🤷‍♂️
  21. His house has been up for sale for a few months now, could mean nothing regards to leaving though.
  22. Alfie Doughty of Luton would be a good signing at left back, maybe not defensive minded enough for Enzo but very good going forward and can take a good set piece
