Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
thegaffa replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not many managers would do well with the dross that we have available for selection. -
No your right mate they don’t just bid on anyone that has a good game against them, but to see a 20 year old with less than 6 months experience in the premier league, run the midfield against his side, that is highly impressive.
-
Spot on mate
-
I know JJ has been getting some deserved stick for his performances over the past 18 months or more, I agree with the majority of it but watching some of the goals conceded this season he drops into the central defensive positions to cover the glaringly obvious pace problems that we have with our centre backs. the 2 cbs seem to mark 1 man in defensive areas regardless of the number of attacking players around, that seems to suck JJ into the central area and this exposes his side of the pitch, as invariably the distance between him and the attacking wide player is too great.

100% percent guaranteed that pep noticed his display today and was impressed. Would be shocked if pep isn’t in for him in the summer, they have a few aging midfielders that will need replacing. we just need to somehow stay in this league and keep him another season and extend his contract.

Shocking team and individual performances. no bite, no bravery on the ball and no effort given. Rudkin and the board…this is all on you.

Premier league 1st team or in general any English league, regarding a 16 year old breaking into it? Jude Bellingham was in Birmingham’s.

Liverpool have given those players a chance but Kelleher was signed at 17 from an Irish team and they bought Gomez from Charlton when he had already played 20+ first team games at 17/18 years old. so not quite like the ones you mentioned that have come through our academy. -
The luton player? I’ve mentioned him before too, think he would be class for us mate
-
Onana replacement for them
-
Let’s bring in Xavi 🤷♂️
-
His house has been up for sale for a few months now, could mean nothing regards to leaving though.
-
Alfie Doughty of Luton would be a good signing at left back, maybe not defensive minded enough for Enzo but very good going forward and can take a good set piece

Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll

Faes is woeful

One of the worst halves I’ve seen in a long while from a centre back, please take Faes off

Gotta be Annie’s song by John Denver and the start has gotta be: Stefano sensei came from Italy

Too much overplaying as usual throughout the game

His off the ball movement when we have the ball is very good, think Cannon will be a success here

Leicester City In 100 Players: Muzzy Izzet
thegaffa replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
I agree Maddison has the better close technique and the way he receives the ball on the turn is excellent but Muzzy also drove us forward with his dribbling and off the ball runs, he was a lot more combative and defensively better than Maddison. both quality midfielders but I would want Muzzy in my team whether it was a game that would either win us the league or keep us up.
