****ing hell….
-
Pleased that KDH is at a club that loves him. I miss him the most out of all our ex-players. Genuine fighter and full of ability.
-
Like the vast majority of his team mates, he is just a *****. Absoloutely embarrassing to watch him flexing his hairline to some middle aged Pompey fan.
-
Hahaha they are such willy pullers
-
Tonys got a sense of humour to be fair to him.

https://www.premierleague.com/en/video/4617015/ngolo-kante-v-chelsea-greatest-individual-pl-performances The bloke was a monster. Probably the most effective footballer I've ever seen. Utterly world class and he was ours! Compare him with Winks, Skipp, Soumare, Choudhury etc

Football continues to be ****ing shite.

Relegation, League 1, financial implications
AKCJ replied to splinterdream's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sheffield Wednesday definitely wouldn't be favourites. I'd say they're much more likely to go down again than come back up. -
I think clubs should be better regarding injury-forced retirements. Especially for people who never really made it.
-
I disagree. I think when telling his boss that he's having to retire from the sport he presumably loves he is entitled to a bit more of a human response. Some things are more important than money and I think we as a club have lost that. I think what made us successful is building more of a family environment.

Madrid are detestable. Their team is full of absolute cretins.
-
Ref definitely didn't realise he'd already booked him.
-
Bit of revisionism about Lookman. Yes he was available for a good price but it was hardly a complete bargain. He was largely on the bench for us that season (only started 17 games and only played the full game 3 times) and we were facing PSR dilemmas. Frankly, I seriously doubt he would have exploded like he did if he stayed here. He needed to go to improve to the world class player he's become. I seriously doubt that another club would have signed him for more than we did. Atalanta signed him for 15m Euro.

Looking forward to the emergence and improvement of some of our "younger yet old enough to play 30+ games" academy players. Players like Braybrooke, Aluko, Stolarcyzk, Alves, Page, Monga etc. I am sure they would all thrive in a positive environment. We just have to pray to god that we're consistent and unrelenting in our pursuit to get rid of deadwood and willy pullers. If we can fill in the gaps with some smart signings as well as bringing in clear leaders and role models then I do think we should come back up. There are a lot of ifs to answer though.

They'll sell him for a big profit.

Of all the things in the shop this is one of the least offensive. Coffee roasted in Leicester beats absolute muck like this all day. https://shop.lcfc.com/en/leicester-city-fatawu-goal-blue-t-shirt-adult?OTM%3D=Y29uZmlndXJhYmxlLzkzLzk=

I don't think that on paper there is a single team in the league that is better than ours. I honestly think that. We've got players that have played at a very high level all over the team and they ought to be capable enough to get us out of this division in the right way. As you say, that first half against Southampton proves that there is genuine talent in the team. But i've never met a squad with such little fight in them. I know it's easy for fans of clubs to say that their team doesn't care and 95% of the time I would say they're getting carried away but I think it's clear that this squad does not care. It's clear that the vast majority of them would leave today if you asked them. There is no leadership and there are extremely few players who actively want to roll their sleeves up and ensure we stay up. When they meet a Portsmouth side that is motivated and hungry they will finish 2nd best.

I've only just seen the decision. I could understand frustration if his finger gets caught in Calvert-Lewin's man bun but he clearly reaches to give it a yank. No need and should be red carded IMO.

If we did, we'd be on 53 points. Oxford's remaining fixtures are Derby (A), Wrexham (H), Sheff W (H) and Milwall (A). They'd need 9 points to get to 53. I'd say that's unlikely. WBA's remaining fixtures are PNE (A), Watford (H), Ipswich (H) and Sheff W (A). They'd need 7 points to get to 53. I'd say that's somewhat unlikely. Blackburn's remaining fixtures are Coventry (H), Sheff U (A) and Leicester (H). They need 5 points to get to 53. I'd say that's very unlikely. Portsmouth's remaining fixtures are Leicester (H), Coventry (A), Stoke (A) and Birmingham (H). They need 5 points to get to 53. I'd say it's quite unlikely. Charlton's remaining fixtures are Sheff W (A), Ipswich (H), Hull (H) and Swansea (A). They need 4 points to get to 53. I'd say that's extremely likely. Yes it is possible we get relegated on 53 points but we'd be very unlucky.
-
I'd honestly be staggered if we beat Portsmouth. I just think we'll collapse now (If we haven't already). I think we'll lose to Portsmouth and Hull. I then think they'll beat Milwall and Blackburn when the pressure is off. Exactly like last season.
-
Mark Robins would be the perfect choice IMO. Someone that understands youth, knows how to operate without a budget, demands a work ethic and brings the best out of what he's got. He is just a younger Nige IMO. He built the platform for Lampard at Coventry. We need someone to come here and do the same.

That'll be that.

Guess The Clubs Headline In Relegation Statement
AKCJ replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
If Tony has any banter it'll be "Today's result means our place in the 26/27 Sky Bet League 1 has been confirmed". -
Just an obvious dive?

Pompey showing the value of winning two games on the bounce. Something we've not done since NOVEMBER.
