I think we'll storm the league, but I don't think people will be betting on us knowing everything.

There will be a lot of people betting on us to win the league. Probably the most heavily backed league one winner for a fairly long time. A lot of people will simply bet on our name as opposed to the facts.

Yep his problem at Southampton was sticking with his fundamentals and not adjusting to the Premier League and Rangers are seemingly totally unmanageable. Yes Martin has some serious questions to answer but he's not the idiot some will paint him to be. Fans need to be patient and give him time.

I do think that there will be a "we can fix him" attitude from a lot of club but not for £7m. If we can get north of £3m then I think we'd accept it. I think we have to make this deal quick though because a year of him stinking the place out in League 1 and we'll be lumbered with him until 2028.

I think a lack of response from the club to the survey just further emphasises that they have checked out and will be going. It's clear that King Power aren't welcome anymore and have overstayed their welcome. Yes there are people like the Ginettas but for one of them there are 100 well adjusted people who realise that Aiyawatt's time is up.

I think Bromley will finish in a very comfortable mid-table and potentially even make a reasonable push for the play offs. That should tell anyone all they need to know.

Successful pre-season. A manager that is seen to be beyond this level. A really strong batch of youth players making their breakthrough season. Very solid signings. Seemingly a return to a "no dickhead" view of recruitment. A positive refresh of the squad. Potentially more money to spend if Souttar and Page leave. A lack of any genuine title contender (League 1 does not have a team like West Ham in the Championship for example). No incoming points deduction that we know of. Potential new ownership bringing a wave of positivity. I know there are some Leicester fans that must have loved how miserable the last few years have been as they have wallowed in it all but seriously, if you cannot see the positives of this summer and go into the season with optimism and belief then you've surely got to ask yourself are you really a supporter and is football really for you?

Who is bullying Okoli? He's built like a brick shithouse. Would be very interested to see the bloke capable of bullying him and I would question why he's playing football and not in the NFL or high-level Rugby.

It's always been funny how a passing style of football has always been viewed in England. Was quite funny watching the rise of Pep's Barcelona team and how they haven't played a team as grand as Manchester United etc. before they promptly wiped the floor with them in the UCL final twice. Then when Pep came over here it was all about "yeah but can he do it on a cold wet tuesday in Stoke?!" before he promptly became arguably the best coach to ever manage a team in Britain. Yes there are obvious flaws to playing with the ball. But there are a million upsides to it. I think the average fan only ever watches the player on the ball and this style of play is subsequently largely lost on these people. I'd encourage anyone watching a Russell Martin team to watch the striker, wingers and midfielders when the defenders or goalkeeper has the ball. Watch the movement and see how the game opens up. It was fascinating under Enzo.

We need a serious revamp of the songbook. Get some of the classics out that people will just immediately know and latch on to. I feel like we've had a real disconnect with our players for too long (for good reason). Quick wins to put Sammy Braybrooke in the Super Stevie Howard chant, Admir Bristric in the Fryatt chant, Wes Burns in the Harvey Barnes chant etc. etc None that will go viral on some Footy Chant Banter Lads twitter account but enough to get players on our side for once.

I think he did come here for his final pay check. I think anyone signing for any club whilst 30+ year old on a long term deal is doing exactly that. Doesn't mean we should attack him for it but he was definitely coming here because we were offering a good wage on a long contract.

Really torn on it. Obviously we need to sell but we do need to play some defenders. I get the drain the swamp mentality but he does genuinely come across as a nice lad that the rest of the team loves. Surely to god he can do a job in League 1. Obviously, if we get an £8m bid then we need to take it. I'm just saying that we'd be left with Faes and Gray. That would literally be it. If Okoli is the centre half version Daka then Faes is the centre half version of Ayew and I know for a fact which i'd prefer.

Exactly. It'll be lovely for the gorund to have a meaningful name but it never has had one and never will. Any incoming owner will either want his name on that ground or to get a sponsor in.

Aside from obvious ones like sacking Rudkin, what would give you confidence that they're here for the right reasons. One of the first things i'd like them to do is replace or recolour the seats in the stadium. It's sad how much KP has left the stadium to rot in the last 5 years or so. Another would be a commitment to building the extension.

I said it recently but I would genuinely give the armband to Chaplin. He has leadership experience, seems like a really good bloke and isn't tainted. If it is given to Choudhury and he's regularly on the pitch then I have lost all confidence in Martin.

Nice that this definitely sounds like it's on now. Nice to wake up feeling like we're one day closer to the end of Aiawatt and Rudkin's reign of terror.

Starting the season strongly is even more important now. If we can be top of the league in November time then we'll be a much more attractive to a potential buyer. If we're floundering in the middle of the table then our value will plummet.

Would love to see Gray given a go.
