I completely disagree. It's how you ensure the culture and traditions of the club are respected. Club legends should always have a role to play at their former club should they want it.
-
I didn't bother watching the game. I put on a Netflix documentary instead. Saw the 11 and thought no chance.
-
It has been this way for the last 4/5 managers now. Probably everyone since Rodgers.

Does anything sum up our downfall better than feeling relieved that Ollie McBurnie isn't starting against us?

Marti whenever a Leicester player makes a mistake

Looking forward to watching Daka get his 60 minutes tonight. Wonder if it'll be Ayew or Carranza who will get 30 minutes. How exciting.

I'd almost forgotten what it was like to tune into the news every night to see him updating the nation with this weird smarmy grin on his face. The blokes a complete **** and should be behind bars.

I think his attitude stinks he sums up the apathy between players and fans. Can't really be arsed watching him play piggy and the middle for 90 minutes with the centre halves. He's the antithesis of a Leicester City midfielder for me. I just want a pair of midfielders that will work their arse off and get the ball forward as soon as possible. We should be getting the ball out to Monga and Fatawu as soon as we can because doing so gives us the best chance of scoring goals yet with Winks, Vestergaard and Faes we seem to just want to take forever moving the ball out of the defence. We have an obsession with passing backwards or standing on the ball. In the meantime the wingers get doubled up on and the passing lane to them gets closed. So not only is it boring to watch us play so slowly, it's also killing any chance of creating goals. Jordan James is a Leicester City midfielder through and through. He's exactly what Leicester fans want to see and Harry Winks isn't.

After a ropey start this lot have improved to the point where I don't think we're favourites at all. Won 4 of their last 5 and came back from 2 nil down to draw the other. Yes they concede a lot of goals but we don't create anything so I wouldn't read much into that.

Actually, isn't that Emile's lad in midfield? Think he made a first team appearance for Man City recently. -

Was this the competition England won a few years ago with the likes of Foden, Gibbs-White and Guehi? It'll be interesting to see how far some of these lads go because i've only heard of Page from that list. -
Sean Dyche - a local living former Nottingham Forest Youth player - will join the club following the sacking of Ange Postecoglu - a non local non former Nottingham Forest Youth player. Sean - being a local - knows how to get to the City Ground and lives near the training ground - where he spent time as a Youth player - as he was once a part of the youth set up here at Nottingham Forest - which is in Nottingham - which is where he lives.

That statement is surely AI?

Their game reminded me a lot of our game against them last season. If they still had Mbuemo it would have been 4 or 5.

He didn't sign there until late in the window. I'd imagine he's catching up on fitness and that that might take a bit longer for a 38 year old.
-
I like the lad and really want him to do well but ****ing hell he's played 99 league games now and still looks like a teenager. His decision making is awful and he's one of the least composed defenders i've ever seen. The problem is that Kristiansen is exactly the same. I think a striker and a left back is urgently needed in Jan.

The best part of that result yesterday is that Man United will keep Amorim in the job for longer. The Danny Welbeck brace on Saturday is going to hit like crack.
-
You can't take anything from that still image other than the fact he's clearly looking at the ball. The game didn't need to be stopped just because he's down holding his head. There wasn't a foul and Man United are two passes away from scoring.

I don't go to home games to sing. Never really have and that goes for 90% of fans of every club. English football is just different to continental football support. The majority of people can't be arsed with jumping up and down for 90 minutes singing woaah woaah ad nauseam along to a drummer. I think the best English atmospheres are where the crowd are all fully engrossed in the game. Roaring on the winger when he's given the ball in space, jumping up and punching the air when theres a big tackle, that collective "COME ON" when we get a corner etc. The best atmosphere i've seen in the last few years was that Leeds away game where their fans essentially sucked the ball into the net while our team just folded under the pressure. You don't get any of that these days at the KP. People are turning up to catch up with their mates, sitting on their phones, leaving early to get a pint at half time and again to beat the full time rush. I can't really remember the last time where it felt as though there were 29,000 Leicester fans completely engrossed in the game and I think you can put the blame on the fact that this team is so deeply unlikeable and play football in a dull way. There's never been a good atmosphere at a Leicester game in which we haven't played well. The atmosphere has always been dictated by whats happening on the pitch and for years now we've been served up absolute muck. Barring good nights like the Southampton 5-0 the atmosphere and 'old school' feel of supporting your team hasn't been there for absolutely ages now. It's all watered down corporate mush.

Dom Ballard. Good finisher, sharp movement, only 20 too.

Is Phil Salt the most dangerous while ball batsman in the world at the moment? -
I'm on Marti's side still when it comes to him vs this miserable squad but he's got to start doing himself a favour and dropping Faes and Vestergaard. When he came here i'm sure he gave a quote about going for the 2nd and 3rd goals once we've taken the lead and i'm just yet to see any evidence of it. We've only scored 2 goals in a game consecutively (as in one goal after the other unanswered by the opposition) on 3 occasions against Sheffield Wednesday (down to 10 men), Birmingham (about 90 minutes between goals) and Swansea. I really need to see this team knuckle down and go after a team. It's been about 18 months since those Southampton and PNE games.
-
I don't see this one being another draw. I think it'll be a game either to kickstart the season with a comfortable and impressive win or the beginning of the end for Marti with a really damaging defeat. Stolarcyzk Hamza Okoli Nelson Aluko Winks James Fatawu Ramsey Monga Ayew

@hfaes Tell him for me.

It's incredible how Rudkin and his boys haven't signed a good goalscorer since Ulloa.
