  1. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if that's the two tomorrow. In fact, i'd put money on those two starting.
  2. Seen that Yunus Akgun is now captaining and scoring goals for Galatasaray in the UCL. Never saw that in him here.
  3. Isn't there that chant that goes to the Kasabian song "You're in love with a psycho"? As in, "I'm in love with Ricardo".
  4. I don't particularly mind rewarding academy graduates like him and Hamza providing the money is right. I think the culture of having players for the academy to look up to has to be right and the young lads need players in the dressing room to be able to talk to and feed off of. But you know for a fact that the likes of Ayew and Soumare will be offered an extension to "protect value" and they will still leave for nothing.
  5. Big day for Abdul tomorrow. Hopefully he makes amends after his red at the Ricoh.
  6. It'll be like the Birmingham game I would have thought. Very tight and cagey.

Does anything show our decline more than our squad only having 4 gold rated players?
  8. I think people would rather turn up tomorrow, act all nonchalant and sit there with their arms crossed in a huff rather than let some neanderthal from down the M69 have the satisfaction of knowing that we actually do care. Get into um. Needs to be a good atmosphere tomorrow.
  9. Seen the highlights this morning for yesterday's game. Two great goals for Rashford and a fantastic assist from Foden. England could do with those two flying again.
  10. I want to be able to play an instrument perfectly (probably piano) without spending the years of practise needed to get to that level.
  11. I could see Winks being let out on loan for 6 months before being released. Somewhere where he can just get off the wage bill for a bit.
  12. Some game in Turin tonight. Half time 0-0, full time 4-4.
  13. Is that like the BT Goalshow that used to run with James Richardson? Was really looking forward to watching that tonight but it looks like they've scrapped it.
  14. Comically bad from Madrid there. Lost the ball to leave a 2 on 2 and absolutely nobody sensed the danger. 0-1 to Marseille.
  15. Cba with this sort of "we don't care about you" rivalry snobbery. Leave that shite to Forest. IMO it's a massive game for both sides.
  16. I was sat elsewhere in the ground that day. A friend had a spare ticket next to him so I gave mine to a relative and sat with him. I don't think it was row A but it wasn't far off. Couldn't see a bloody thing all game I thought he'd given a freekick to the Villa keeper.
  17. Their xG against QPR was comically low considering they won 7-1. Something like 1.6 IIRC.
  18. The rules say the following regarding serious foul play (red card offence). I personally don't see how we could appeal based on this. No he didn't catch him with studs or anything like that but he flew into the tackle and lunged right at the lad with (IMO) excessive force. I think it's more luck than design that Ramsey didn't injure the lad. I think he took his frustration of having such a poor start to the game out on the Oxford player.
  19. This is all the sort of thing that people tell each other to the point that we will end up with that scam artist being in 10 Downing St. It is absolutely terrifying.
  20. You'd have a point if politicians stuck to their words and manifestos. Farage is up there with the worst of them. How anyone could possibly trust him with the role of Prime Minister is beyond me!
  21. I suppose it boils down to whether or not you trust the serial liar Nigel Farage.
  22. The debate on whether we want the NHS to be sold off and privatised is there to be had. Of course it is. What isn't right though is pretending that fees would be small and easily affordable. I completely agree. The NHS is totally underfunded and is totally mismanaged. It needs to be sorted but we can't lose sight of the fact that it's one of Britain's great strengths and we can't allow it to be sold off.
  23. But when the NHS isn't funded by the tax payer, it gets funded by appointment/prescription fees that anyone looking to use the service will have to pay. If Farage sells the NHS off and it becomes privatised they can pretty much charge what they like. As I say, Bupa is probably the most well known and established nationwide private health service and they charge around £200 for an appointment. Expecting to pay a small fee for a private health service appointment is just a fantasy. It will not happen and people need to realise this because if Reform get their way and sell the NHS off it will make hundreds of thousands of British people's lives a misery. Either pay ludicrous health insurance fees or pray to god you don't fall ill.
  24. It's not the point. People always say things like "We'd all pay this small fee for a GP appointment, wouldn't we?" The answer is obviously yes. But the problem is that it wouldn't be a small fee and we all know that so it's a pointless debate. The second the NHS is sold off prices will go through the roof.
