I get the desperation to sign him, but honestly if a big team in Europe show enough interest it isn’t happening. It has been proven over many years, there are players out there if you look hard enough
-
If he signs, great... if he doesn’t, we will def go after someone else. Put it this way... Mendy and N’Didi is no more, that’s the positive!
-
We’ve got a decent squad and good youngsters... why the panic to sign? Not only that but we aren’t selling all our best players either... you’d rather have a revolving door? Calm down or go play FIFA
-
So we are selling Chilwell, Maguire and Maddison, not getting Tielemans but we are going in on James Rodriguez... God I hate what boredom does to journalists during transfer windows
-
Utter bull, Chelsea won’t sell when they’ve got an embargo (except Hazard it seems), and if they did... it would be a lot more than £15million
-
Only watched 5-6 Lyon games this season but each time he’s been poor... falling over when trying to sprint/bit clumsy, missing target... not the same player from season before
-
This geezer is qualityyyyyy
-
How? He’s been proved to be fake/talking sh*** so many times but people still follow him?!
-
Hitc, Close thread...
-
If Robben rumour is true... Jesus Christ! Ignore his age... he’s still got it, but more importantly would no doubt be an influence on Gray and Barnes. Anyway let’s not get too excited ...
-
Well that Alan geezer who always seems to be in the know reckons we are going to spend big... That’ll do for me.
-
Love him but come on, if Man City want him, they’ll get him. If we get £65mill plus you can’t moan... big profit and money will be put into other players.
-
Went to Birmingham v Sheff Utd game a few weeks back (boss had a spare ticket). And apart from the moaning in the stands (yes worse than us), the only thing to stand out... was how good Che Adams was... best player by a mile. He can play off the shoulder of the last defender like Vardy, but also drop and play as a hold up player because of his physical strength. A feel good all rounder, who I think would only get better if we signed him...
-
No longer potential, just dog shit. We’ve got the basis of a very good side, just really poor in wide areas.
-
At 32 he should now be able kick to a team mate and be good at game management. Him and Wes should both go, but doubt they will

Kasper out Gray actually did well when he came on... N’Didi makes me nervous when he’s on the ball Maddison was a bit better... Iheanacho must’ve won a competition... he can’t do anything and messed up a chance to counter. Rodgers has got a tough job, can see us struggling against Fulham as well, new manager bounce under Parker and all that. Tough to take, just get one more win from somewhere so we can relax a bit... then a massive summer -

Thought Kasper was terrible, vards got no service but didn’t look like he cared (again), Maguire awful again, Evans is our best centre back. Maddison everything goes through him, but was poor , set pieces especially poor. Other than that, everyone else basically 4’s & 5’s. -
Welllets hope he is a mate developer... Harry Kane was bang average on loan with us and Norwich
-
Shocked that we spent a lot of time chasing/paying compensation on someone who isn’t actually any good? I’m sure the Sheff We’d fans were gutted to see him leave...
-
I noticed there was no Moore and Kaputska... was it our players messing everything up all along
-
No there was a pole on Twitter not that long about who was the worst striker ... him or akinbiyi... seriously, some people had an agenda from the off because he wasn’t Jamie Vardy... Akinbiyi won by the way but it was 60/40...
-
Slimani was our worst striker ever though...
-
Well some seem to have decided he’s not good enough after 1 & 1/2 games
-
Yep really positive and comparing to what we saw (only glimpses) last season, looks a different player. For me, he starts at the moment ahead of others who have had a lot of chances and not exactly taken them... Seems fairly comfortable with both feet as well... he’ll get better and better with game time. No matter how many reasons that I may have to disliking Puel, he does at least give youth a chance. Not sure he’s actually improving them or it’s just the increase in game time that’s improving them, but he is at least, doing what others do not, and that is putting his neck on the line by playing them.
