  1. I refuse to pay £63 for a shirt. It’s a piss take. £180 is outrageous.
  2. Construction costs are definitely coming down. Raw materials and labour are cheaper than they were 6 months ago. I can see them falling further, so maybe we might actually save a few million by delaying this.
  3. I’m still gutted we lost to Hull. It would have been great to be invincible

The wife purchased our puppy 20 odds toys. I got a basket to put them all in. He emptied the basket, then sits in it to chew the bloody handles.
  5. I’m onto Episode 3 and it’s definitely worth a watch.
  6. You never know really. It’s a bit like when we axed Brendan but gave him the palace game (from memory, I’ve tried to erase last season). Axe him early and then move over the international break.
  7. Bizarre to wait until now for Rowett to go,
  8. I think the news is largely all about Israel / Palestine.
  9. I’ve started to run again, as I’m really starting to pick up frequent injuries now I’m over 40 whilst attempting to play football. I’ve started C25K again. Looking at my fitness now, I’m amazed I got sub 30 minutes only 18 months ago.
  10. Ha Ha …… who doesn’t like a topic bump to remind them that Christmas is just around the corner. This was more a reminder that the shopping slots were open. I did the all inclusive trip to the Caribbean in the summer! We were meant to be doing New York in December, however we’ve since got a puppy. So I guess I’ll be cooking again and cook as per my original post. In all honesty, I came back to find this, to remind me what I actually needed to order.
  11. Like all wars, innocent civilians in the wrong place, at the wrong time will ultimately pay the sacrifice. I don’t profess to be an expert on Gaza, Palenstine, The Westbank, Middle East or Israel, however what did the world expect after Hamas crossed the border and murdered a load of civilians. I was expecting an even more brutal response than what we’ve seen so far to be honest. War is unpretty and fortunately we’ve largely lived through a time that hasn’t had many on our continent. Eastern Europe has always been semi volatile since WW2, be in Cyprus / Greece / Turkey, Old Yugoslavian states, Ukraine / Russia etc The world is a changing place and history that was once written by the victor, is now a social media propaganda machine, orchestrated by war mongering individuals unfortunately. The tragic loss of life, of innocent people is truly a tragedy but war never changes.
  12. Mine kicked in yesterday morning. I thought something was on fire, then realised the heating had come on for the first time in over 6 months.
  13. Just to put it on everyone’s radar. If you do online shopping ordering, most of the shops are releasing the slots this week.
  14. From what we saw of VK, in my opinion he wasn’t good enough on the ball to play this role long term. I don’t see a place for him in this squad, within the current system. Same goes for Thomas as well really.
  15. Anyone watched the “Fall of the House of Usher”?
  16. I’ve watched the lowlights on TikTok this morning. What a farce. Unfortunately whilst people keep paying and attending, it’ll continue to happen. That Astrid Wett fight looked horrendous though. I’ve seen two blokes have a better fight after coming out the pub pissed up.
  17. Iheanacho has left the Nigerian squad and won’t play in the friendly on Monday.
  18. The last game was the 11th May 2002. Milner made his debut for Leeds in November 2022. So 21 years ago. In theory, an 18 year old youth player would now be 39. I’ve had a quick look at the active goalkeepers over 38 years old and non of them played at Filbert Street. Were the reserve games played at Filbert still at that point? Just wondering if any players that could be 36+ might make the cut.
  19. They have started to click a bit more.
  20. I laughed tonight when someone mentioned Tielemans back to us on loan.
  21. Sorry Lionator, I was responding to someone else that asked about us creeping toward a world war.
  22. I guess the ongoing conflict in Myanmar, or Sudan don’t get the headlines, as the media find it more difficult to get information. It’s still tragic what’s occurred in Israel / Palestine, whatever your opinion on who is at fault. As with most wars, the innocent people become nothing more than a number to sensationalise. Truly awful.
  23. I’d like to both photographed, on the hour, every hour, side by side.
  24. What would class it as a World War III? Reading this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_armed_conflicts It’s surprising just how many ongoing conflicts we have worldwide currently.
  25. I always love your sound bites @Daggers
