I don't see the point in these polls of Puel. It's clear from the reaction we don't want him. We don't need polls EVERY week to show it.

Sousa was worse.

Relegation to League One - Ten years ago today.
maynefox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
How ironic. Virtually 10 years to the date. Bye bye Stoke -
Bit on the fence. We need to get rid of him ASAP. But I don't want to under sell him. Perhaps the quoted £95m we wanted in January should be lowered. Even that was a bit too far IMO. Either way he (and many others) need to go.
-
Man City will under-bid again thist summer and the cycle starts again. The way he reacted by going on strike I wouldn't trust him with whatever he says to the press.

I wouldn't see it as a success; especially as nothing concrete has happened. Of course, this may be a new chapter for the Korean peninsular but there's history of warming relations only for the North Koreans to go rouge again. This is a success and a victory for Kim Jong-Un. It has cost him nothing to do this. Denuclearise? Fat chance. He's ending the nuclear programme, for now, because he blew his own site up! - he's been treated as an international equal to that of the U.S. (huge achievement for the "rogue nation". - kept the nuclear programme thus far and I think he will continue to do so. Think about it, it's the North Koreans only guarantor against the U.S. why get rid of it? - he behaves for China and reaches out to South Korea. In return for what? Nothing and maybe that he will denuclearise North Korea? Kim has matched Trump's rhetoric and given the U.S. the finger. His reward? A summit and keeping his nuclear arsenal. Huge win. Because Kim's stature as an international statesmen has been legitimised he and the South are dealing with Korea, without the U.S. Trump is doing this for his own ego. He wants to be the first President to go to North Korea just for the history books. After all the "Rocket Man" talk and threatening to blow North Korea up, he now wants to do a deal with Kim? Bizarre. Trump has legitimised Kim. I feel this is all a delay and breather tactic for the North. Possibly a chance to alleviate some of the sanctions. Kim has completely fooled Trump into his own narcissism. Conversely, you could say a Korean peace summit is a massive success - but the U.S. aren't spearheading the summit? Let's see how much of a "success" this will be later on this year.
-
Are you referring to North Korea?

I'm saying that we, if we want to ever progress as a club, need to move away from the perspective of "but he won the league/he saved the penalty against Sevilla"; all that rhetoric is why we have so much deadwood at this club. (I was using Morgan as a prime example of this). Rudkin was DoF when we won us the league. So? Rudkin didn't win us the league. Sure he negotiated the Kante transfer. Well done. That's his job. But since then he's been a Yes-man for the Thais and has seriously messed up any chance of Leicester going onto the "next level". I don't understand why you want fans to have perspective of Rudkin? Why, because he held a position when we won the league? You seem to basically agree that Morgan and Co should be shipped off. I'm just questioning why Rudkin should be given a bit of a free-pass? Correct me if I am wrong.
-
It's this sort of view which is why we are still putting up with Morgan at the back.
-
I'm sorry but you cannot tell me he's a good defender after that Crystal Palace game, you just can't. Look at goals 3 and 4 and tell me he puts in the effort. It's a very well saying he's young but he's not progressing. He's been at this club for nearly 2.5 season and he's not improved. It says it all that Diabete comes in and makes more of an impression on the fans than Gray. I would be slightly lenient and say he's too inconsistent at this level, but he isn't. He's consistently disappointing. The problem is he thinks he's better than he actually is. Anyone who touts about wanting to be called up for England has a poor attitude. His poor attitude led him to demand more first team football. Then when that was achieved a new contract. Then he scores a few goals, he thinks he should be in the England seniors. It's rubbish. He's lucky to be playing for Leicester. His level, right now, if for a team in the relegation zone or top-6 Championship; it has been for the past 2.5 seasons. There's no progression, no potential to make me think "ah, he could be alright". He's regressing
-
Most logical thing to do. But him and Grey think they are by wonders and should be England seniors now. Their attitude is for losers of the game. They wouldn't like being on loan due to their egos and therefore wouldn't learn from their experience.

Match Ratings : Crystal Palace 5-0 Leicester City - Vote Now
maynefox replied to DB11's topic in Leicester City Forum
I just saw it on MOTD now. Absoulte disgrace. For the fourth goal especially he stood there. The attacker has an open goal because that egotistical nonce can't be arsed to track back. Get rid. -
Yep same three. I recognised this is a transition phase but yesterday was a joke. Again, I turned with the selection of Morgan and publicly saying he could well be given a new contract. It shouldn't even be up for consideration. But who picks the team? Surely Puel? It is not Morgan's fault that he keeps being picked. If Puel stuck with Dragovic maybe we would have convinced him to sign for us permanently. A big opportunity to get a decent CB for a fairly cheap price in today's market gone. I wouldn't want to sign for Puel if I was Dragovic.
-
Any player who openly questions a national team selection has the wrong attitude. He actually think and says he should be within the remits of an England call up. Laughable. You didn't see top players like Lampard or Gerrard etc using the media to push their own agenda for a call up. I watched Ashley Barnes on Goals on Sunday today. He could be called up to Austria. He said he's heard nothing and he's just concentrating on football and to cross the international bridge when it comes. Then you have Demi (who gave him that egotistical nickname) who captains the England under21s for once and then thinking he deserves a call up. Sell him. Says it all when a Ligue 2 player comes in and most of our fans thinks he should start ahead of Gray. To think we rejected that Bournemouth bid too. (Another "recruitment/DoF" failure).

Who should be the next Leicester City manager?
maynefox replied to Sharpe's Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Get Rafa in and give him the money he's been so craving at Newcastle. Apart from him. I'm really not enthusiastic with any other realistic candidates. -
He has been underwhelming. Who knows he may have been better had we signed him in the summer? We will really see next season. Though nobody knows where in the midfield he is capable of playing!!??
-
Rudkin needs to be held accountable for his disastrous role. Okay it looks good being a DoF in a title winning season with a lucky team. Silva 14 seconds late. Get a grip that was a shambles. Potentially ruined his chance for WC spot because we wanted more money from Chelsea. If you want a player. Go and get him. Stop fannying around and blaming it on the Fax machine. Two wasteful summer Windows. The worst being immediately after we won the league. That was terrible. I can't stress how much of a disgrace that was. Hiring yes managers. We know there was friction between him.and Pearson. Pearson is a leader who takes no shit. Puel is a yes man. Shakespeare was a bad appointment. Similar repetitions how we ended last season to this season. Rudkin OUT.
-
I was willing to give Puel the summer. Not now. I don't mind losing but not how we have been recently and today was a disgrace. The hard-working (fearless) attitude at our club has completely gone. With him in charge and others departing in the summer (Mahrez, maybe Maguire or Ndidi) we will be the next Southampton. Of course his team selection and the way he has pushed Dragovic out is shocking. The football is dull and rubbish. The last 3 home games on the trot I've left early. I've never done that in all my years and season tickets before. I have better things on a Saturday to do then get angry and frustrated with this rubbish. Vote with your feet. Don't go to the next home games. The owners will get that message (if they have yet to get this message). 5v0. Just a disgrace. No team in the PL should be rolling over like that with such docile effort. Puel out I'm afraid. If we don't get rid, and give him a summer, he will be gone in September like Shakespeare. It will be another wasted season. ACT NOW TOP! A side, but important, note one which I've been wondering for some time now, there's has been no vocal criticism by our fans to Rudkin. This needs to happen. He's getting away with a lot. 14 seconds late with Silva, signing dross, appointing poor managers, two pathetic summer transfer windows. We have all the ingredients to sleep walk into relegation next season: shit managers, incompetent board members, two wasteful summer Windows, big players leaving (will and should leave), too much player-power at the club, no leadership on the pitch (Morgan is not a leader), and the erosion of any meaningful identidy the club did have with its fans.

Am I the only one with the "meh" feeling?
maynefox replied to Steven's topic in Leicester City Forum
Likewise. Finish this season. Everyone has a break (though more pain with England). Hopefully the Anti-Puel's will come back a bit more positive and give him some encouragement for the forthcoming season. -

Right you are. Don't think he will be ready. We need someone who can come in a do the job now.
-
On the subject of Morgan, he needs phasing out. Not good enough and I just know we will persist with him next season. All this captain this and captain that. John Terry got phased out at Chelsea. It happens. We have a quality international sitting on the bench. I've heard it's because he didn't want to commit. I'm sorry we have to show why we want him. We should be trying to persuade him to come to Leicester and play him games. Not drop him from the team when the captain returns. If this happened and he didn't want to sign, then that's life. Either way we are still looking for Morgan's replacement in the summer. When we have the option to buy a very good CB, we should be making him feel welcomed and wanting to stay in Leicester. He's not going to play for us now, is he? Such bad management from Puel. Played Dragovic until the end of the season with Maguire = he stays. CB sorted Played Dragovc until the end of the season with Maguire = he rejects us. We find another replacement for Morgan. Morgan and Maguire = Dragovic rejects us. We find another replacement for Morgan. The other scenario that Dragovic stays despite being dropped for Morgan, I'd find incredible if that happened. We've missed out on a decent CB on the cheap.

Moore isn't on loan. He's Moore or less gone

Chester - Villa - England - Leicester - Tottenham. Admittedly I jumped ship with Leicester when offered the job. To no-one's surprise when I took over with Tottenham, I think it year 2033ish, they still hadn't won the league! They had won 2 Champions League but not a PL Thank you all for the recommendations. I'm going to find the next Mahrez at Le Havre!
-
Unfortunately, my Tottenham save in the year 2038 on FM17 became corrupted. A feel a little lost and all enthusiasm to start another game are lost. (earliest I saved it elsewhere was 2036, I can't be bothered to continue). Not sure what save I could start. Any peculiar recommendations? I had a look at Spanish second division but quickly realised I had no excitement for it. I don't want to go to England again. I would like a team that has a good youth set-up in Europe?
