I work in social media - data, insight & strategy for a mid-sized PR firm - and I have to say, it's quite poor from the club. They've kind of established a tone that works well when we're doing ok, but comes across as really tone deaf when we're not. I have no doubt they're being told to keep it positive by the powers-that-be, same goes for the constant flogging of kits. But then I've always thought their 'on-calendar' content was nonsense (Greek Independence Day, really?) and I feel like there's a way to approach the situation we're in positively while also reading the room. The stuff about how good the players are doing during the international break is particularly tone deaf to me - 'Ayew leading Ghana to back-to-back wins' or 'Jannick and Victor smashing it for Denmark' etc - at best it just highlights what a terrible job they're doing here, and at worst it just shows what they're potentially capable of when they pull on a shirt they care about. They don't need to be posting so much, I'd say when we're doing poorly just dial down the volume in terms of how much you're posting - and focus on stuff that shows the players training hard, trying their best to turn the poor form around etc. Feels like they're often in denial about where we are and how we're doing.

I remember the FA Cup 3rd round game against Man City being particularly ****ing cold, the one where Sol Bamba scored with his first touch of the ball. Freezing January day - couldn't feel my feet.

Don't think it's the best idea for a new man to come in and probably oversee a bunch of defeats, fans will be calling for his head by the end of the season - absolutely no doubt.

There's no point bringing in an interim manager, as we're basically down. There's no point in bringing in a perm manager with an eye on the Championship because they will just start off by losing a bunch of games and it will turn the fans against them. Let him stay IMO, the damage is done, and can't be undone by anyone else. Sack him the second the whistle blows on the final match of the season.

The biggest thing for me is the total lack of mentality, these lot are all so soft and spoiled. They're all massively overpaid, and as soon as the going gets remotely tough they just **** it off. I'd love us to be able to bin them all and build a new squad from scratch.

He should retire at the end of the season - a legend, one of the greatest to ever wear the shirt, he's one of the only ones who I'm willing to give a pass for the shit show of the last few years. The club doesn't deserve any more from him.

You forgot BEK, who I imagine will be top of most people's lists. The only ones I like are the ones that will probably be sold - Mads, Fatawu, El Khannous. Vardy should retire. The rest of them? Wouldn't care if I never saw a single one of them in a Leicester shirt ever again.

They make a shit load of money, play for a good club under some of the best coaches in the world, and then - usually worst case scenario - they end up getting sold to a club that's probably bigger or similar size to us.

I genuinely think most young players would prefer the prestige of being signed up at a 'big club' like Man City rather than playing in the Championship. Yeah, only a few of them make the first team, but at 16 you probably think you're going to be the one to buck the trend. And if not, most go on to be sold to decent sized British and European clubs.

I think possibly we need to accept that the best talent is going to leave for big clubs - the likes of Monga, Nyoni, Noubissie - and that the tribunal fees we get for them are what pay for the academy. What we need to get better at is providing a pathway to the first team for the 'best of the rest' - the likes of Jake Evans, Alves, Braybrooke at the minute - formerly KDH, Chilwell, Barnes etc. We need to start bringing through the youth that we've actually got a chance of keeping. And I don't buy that loaning them out until they're 23-24 is the best way to do that either - when they hit 18, we should be looking to have them involved in and around the first team.

I don't think it's even the money, or the pathway to first team - kids would rather sign for the likes of Man City than us, we're circling the drain of the PL and look to spend the next few seasons bouncing between Champ and PL if we're lucky.

I understand that people want a bit of excitement, but throwing a bunch of 15/16 year olds into PL football is insane. Even Rooney was nearly 17 when he made his debut, and was he very physically developed - most of these lads look like a strong breeze would knock them over, let alone elite Premier League defenders.

If you look at the squad he had, we never should have been relegated - yeah he was one part of bigger problems at the club, but him and the players who were there that season should hang their heads. We were in decline, but he turbo charged it.

No, I absolutely wouldn't. You can't harass people outside of work because you're annoyed with them.

Genuinely, what's the point? You can put anyone in charge and this bunch of chancers are down and out, doesn't even matter any more.

I don't think he should ever come back as manager, as that ship has sailed - but making him DOF to replace the spineless Rudkin would be a great move.

Rudkin got confused and sacked him after the wrong Brentford game.

Yes this, Man City basically fund most of their purchases now by selling a few fringe players, and academy lads, it's mental. For them, it's fully part of their financial model.

Given how much McAteer actually plays, we'd have been better off just selling him and sticking Alves on the bench. McAteer does less than nothing for us.

Rodgers first couple of seasons were, on the face of it, successful and he was definitely a shot in the arm for us after Puel, Shakey and Ranieri - but you just look at it and you can see in reality he should have done better and the signs that the mentality was crumbling were all there. We were lucky to win that FA cup in his second season, and we bottled top 4 (which would have massively increased our revenue) by losing three of the last four and missing out by a point. That was when the alarm bells should have started ringing. The start of the season after that was when we went into free fall. I remember watching us play West Ham in the second game of the season and we couldn't lay a glove on them, it was absolutely pathetic stuff - displays we've seen all too often since. That was the tipping point for me, but you could see it was coming. I don't think the mentality has ever recovered.

I'd say the warning signs and the beginning of the decline started before we won the FA Cup to be honest

There's probably been worse players, but I just hate this fuzzy haired freak with his face like a smacked arse.
