  1. Probably worth giving him an extension for a year just for the hope that we might be able to sell him, academy players should always be moved on for a fee if at all possible.
  2. I fear that it will be another weird, haphazard/ill-thought-out appointment. The safe option, if he's ready for a return to football, would be Pearson - knows the DNA of the club, as he essentially built the modern identity of LCFC. Not a Guardiola possession merchant though, so I doubt Top will be interested. Wildcards? Dave Challinor, Danny Cowley? Christian Fuchs? Again, we need someone who can connect with the fans and bring back a bit of goodwill - though it may be too soon for him. Though tbh, doubt they are paying for a manager from anywhere.
  3. What is needed? I don't actually think there's anyone who could have come in and done anything with this squad, I really do believe that.
  4. Otchere's 19? **** me get him in the first team, we literally have no striker
  5. Send them back to Belvoir Drive
  6. Honestly, nothing changes until the ownership changes - in any kind of meritocracy there is no way this cretin would be deemed fit to run any business, let alone a football club. He's already run a duty free empire built on cheat-mode into the ground. If he were just an idiot, that would be one thing, but he's also got the fatal character flaw of being a fragile idiot. Instead of hiring more competent people than himself to help the club succeed, he prefers idiotic bootlickers and yes men promoted far beyond their station, because it makes him feel like a big clever boy. The rot starts at the top, and there isn't a single bit of this club it doesn't touch. If I could wish one thing for Leicester City now it would be for the ownership to sell up, and for new owners to bring in an entirely new c-suite, and - of course - remove Jon Rudkin from this football club, never to return. I would also massively downsize Seagrave as well. Do we need 14 full size pitches? And you can sell the golf course immediately. The running costs for this white elephant would be a burden on a Premier League club, let alone a club on the verge of relegation to League One. Regardless of the outcome of this season, release any players at the end of their contracts, and look to actively sell the overwhelming majority of the first team - purely because of the complete breakdown in relationship between players, club and fans - perhaps keeping some of the younger players who we will have to rebuild the team around. Then, depending what league we are in, we will have to heavily focus on data and smart recruitment to find extremely cheap & low wage signings. Of course none of this will happen, and the best we can hope for is years of utter misery with the club hopefully still in existence, all signs show that this is not a given and we may well no longer have a club to support before too long.
  7. Might be time to actually seriously look into this đź‘€
  8. I think we probably could get relegated.
  9. Genuinely go so far as saying if we had a decent striker we'd be nowhere near the drop. Ayew and Daka the main architects of our downfall.
  10. Genuinely wonder what these players are like in training
  11. Done me dirty here.
  12. I'm not saying it's nailed on that we're staying up, just that it's ridiculous to claim that we're basically down when we're 1pt from safety with 11 games to play. If we hadn't had a pts deduction we'd be in 19th. We're shit, but we're not dead and buried.
  13. There's not a lot to get excited or even optimistic about with this side, but talk of us being dead and buried in March with 11 games to go is literally mental. There is so much criticism of the players on here for not caring about or fighting for the shirt - all I can say is I'm glad some of you lot aren't pulling it on either, **** me.
  14. We were 5pts off the playoffs before Oxford game - though I can't believe they weren't aware we were likely getting a pretty hefty deduction.
  15. I don't know, looking at the horrendous running costs we have - a couple of seasons stuck in League One could be enough. Had no idea the training ground cost such a tremendous amount of money to run. You can cut the wage bill, but you can't cut that - short of selling it. And who would want to buy it for the price we'd put on it?
  16. Yes completely in denial, blaming anyone and anything else, totally incapable of any kind of introspection. It's gotten to the point where I don't even think King Power CAN go anymore, because there's literally no-one else out there who will want to buy us and immediately start haemorrhaging money.
  17. Well, never thought we'd be here - but could be nearer than we think by the looks of things. Some pretty interesting information on the FSA's page: https://thefsa.org.uk/fan-resources/resource-training/community-owned-clubs/setting-up-a-new-club/ Time for Leicester Fosse FC?
  18. Says it all doesn't it? They should be down on bended knee.
  19. If he's been at the training ground, as suggested, then he can't be that averse.
  20. Announcing Pearson as interim until the end of the season with King as assistant manager would be such a simple, easy win for the club in terms of getting the fans back onside that it beggars belief they've not just got it done. Top and Rudkin think we're 'better' than the likes of Pearson, when the truth is that they have run us so far into the ground that we're actually worse off than the last time he was here.
  21. I'm not going to get my hopes up, we are 100% going to end up with Martin or Gerrard - someone like that.
  22. Interesting! It was really highly accredited for my specific subject (journalism) but guess that's not reflective of the uni as a whole.
  23. DMU was great when I did my masters there back in 2009. Really good university - never really saw any trouble or anyone causing any problems. What's happened?
