A typical LCFC signing. Young, talented and someone who we can develop and add value. A very good start !!
-
Agreed !!
-
Absolutely correct !

I know what you mean and in a couple of years I would agree. But I think playing time is huge for JM at present. He will only progress by playing regularly. The grass is not always greener at the big clubs just ask RM and DD. He has so much potential but an awful lot to learn, that is best done out of the limelight and pressure that playing for Man Utd brings

Great news !! -
If true will have to move on !
-
Agreed. Cannot possibly go into a long season with no backup for JV. A major injury and we would be in awful trouble . I would still take a punt on the Birmingham lad.as a prospect If we had the money I would love to see Wilson from Bournemouth . Quick, strong ideal foe our style of play

Not so sure. I read a few weeks ago that Monaco fans were saying they got the better deal. They would rather have Silva than YT. I don't think we are going to spend 40M on one player so fingers crossed they do rate Silva at 15/20M. I don't think his game is suitable for the Prem and he needs to move on for the sake of both parties, so lets hope a deal can be done.

Hopefully this will move next week after the French league finishes on Friday. Monaco are safe unless a big goal difference swing occurs. I suppose then they will to decide if they retain their coach who is the Silva fan.If he was to leave then Silva is coming back. I think we are looking for a Silva + Cash deal which could bring the 40M down to a manageable 20-25 m.

This, if true, is a giant step backwards. He will be injured a great deal. Wrong age. Will cost an absolute fortune . Definite no for me.
-
Me too . When you watch the chance Chelsea had just before half time HM just doesn't see the run and let him go . JE was marking the front post . Happen far far to often for me .

I remain convinced that had personal issues not intervened and with the addition of Kante he would have led us to the prem title. CR was a very personable man but think most of the credit lies with NP

This !!!

I think going forward and passing left a lot to be desired but he was certainly one of the best defensive right backs to have worn a Leicester shirt. As others have said he was imminence during our prem winning team. I wish him good luck for the rest of his career !!

I admit it was a woeful miss and a ridiculous booking BUT with the formation we play it is very difficult to play in front of Vardy including any new signings we make.SO is leaving because he wants to play as a striker and he knows he will never be picked for that role in front of JV. I still think he is young and has potential hence the clauses Man City insisted on when he arrived. I was encouraged by last pre-season and you can only be sharp by playing You cannot expect to be match ready when all you get is the odd 5mins here and there.Nigeria still rate him very highly. I would give him another year under BR . He is still very young and his confidence is shot.

Agreed 100%

A great player ! Think JM and Wilf are plating much better since he joined . This and a striker a must this summer !
-
A truly awful day . I remember the old days when the worry was not what position in the Prem we are but if we would have a club at all. The owners have been fantastic for our great club ,the City and the wider football family. My thoughts are with Top and the rest of the family. RIP !!!

Vardy just signed new four year contract

Agreed ! -
I understand that and I just think we needed a striker as back up. The way we play it need not have been a target man . As a loan I would have taken Ings etc

I really pleased with the activity. I intend to give ALL of the new lads the benefit of the doubt. I really hope Ghezzal proves all those who have written him off before he kicks a ball, wrong. To be hyper-critical if Leo and Slim leave and Gordon left we are very very thin in attack. One injury to Vardy and we will be deep trouble. Fingers crossed. I think as Vardy get older his 110% style of football will result in more frequent lay offs . There will be intense pressure on JM to replace the assists of RM and it will be the make or break season for Gray. Good luck to everyone and I hope CP proves me wrong and takes us to the next level.
