You were quick I edited that within 30 seconds !!!

The window for selling players doesn't shut until August 31st so probably going to have take the risk we can sign players then shift unwanted ones out before then. They will certainly be aware if Slim is to be sold or on loan. I think it will be a loan but it will give us some slack with the wages.
-
I think this the signing I have been waiting for all pre-season. I hope we can get it over the line. However we do need another central defender desperately.
-
Not for me ! Just not the quality to improve the team

I really HOPE I am wrong and the lads have a great season. I love football for the different opinions fans have, We are all supporters of Leicester City first and last. I have been watching the lads for over 45 years through thick and thin and will always do so BUT I genuinely believe the owners have made a massive mistake by backing CP. The performances in pre-season have been dire. There is no movement and play is far to slow. I don't think he will last the season I just hope our prem status is not sacrificed. I fear it will be and we will have the best training facilities in the Championship. I really really hope I am wrong !!!

Agree 100%

I think all those who to go the KP week in and week out know Simpson's limitations. He is not the quickest and his passing leaves alot to be desired BUT as a traditional RB he was very good. When ever he played I rarely gave him a mark below a 6/ 7. Not spectacular but solid. I can see why he is not a CP player. I wanted him to stay because as a RB as opposed to a wing back I still believe had a place in the squad. As the owners have decided to stick with CP ( I strongly disagree) Danny leaves the club. I wish him good luck in the future and thank him for being part of the team that were able to make my dream of being champions of England come true.

Really was hoping BC would progress but on last nights display I now know that he can't pass, defend or cross. However he did run quickly. I realistically know he is young but i very much doubt he will ever be prem quality. Am afraid I would rather stick with CF. -
I think the window started well and I even accepted RM had to go BUT we knew we would be in this situation at the seasons close and it now starting to look very bad indeed. Grey tries but flatters to deceive. IS looks as if his mind is else where. If the club decided to back CP they should do it properly. Am seriously concerned that this could turn into a disaster especially if we let Man Utd steal one of our best defenders. If the club don't sign a couple of quality players including one with RM attributes it is going to be a long hard season. The owners say they want to move the club froward each season . This is not case at present.

Performance. Desperately need the RM replacement in ASAP
-
Agreed . If the issue is wages we should have excepted the offer and used those freed up to spend on this guy
-
I knew it was inevitable, but, watching us play for forty years he was certainly the most naturally gifted player I have ever seen in a City shirt. I wish him the very best. I have not seen any recognition from him to the fans or the club that gave him his chance but hey if that is how he feels fine. I am not filed with confidence but I sincerely hope the club have a plan for a replacement. The players linked so far are under whelming.

Absolutely agree !! The RM situation is becoming urgent as is the size of the squad. We need to start shipping King, Leo etc out
-
I was hoping CP would play three at back. Think AG would have been perfect in that role. Really believe it would have been one of the best back three in the Prem

I don't know if this has been said but if it is true that a deal was reached in principle for RM that was worth 75m (60m in cash + PR worth 15m) then it seems to me that Man City have accepted our valuation of RM ie 75m. If we now do not want PR that does not alter the valuation that both clubs agreed. It is therefore up to Man City to decide that if they still want RM and how they are going to pay for him or were they trying to pull a fast one in terms of the the valuation of PR. It is nothing to do with size of club > RM is our asset , they agree with our valuation, so simply pay up and he becomes their player. I feel for RM who is stuck in the middle but that's life and he is not suffering any financial hardship. I believe that the only compromise will be if our owners decide they need the cash for reinvestment in the squad more than they need the extra cash. I don't give a fig if Man City walk away that is prerogative but should in no way influence our decision.

I meant more in terms of timing. My concern is to set a time when this must be done. i don't want this going right to the end of the window leaving us no time for a replacement or further investment in the squad. The money received for Danny DID represent excellent business.
-
Absolutely agree !!! We don't want another Chelsea and DD debacle.
-
It does not say anywhere the club have been approached to grant permission for the approach. To do so without it is against the rules ,
-
Not too bothered to be honest. Like RM we just need thing sorted one way or the other, Soon !!!

A superb addition. Hope this the first of several that arrive with prem experience. I think the club have learnt from last year that prem experience is vital although it appears there is a price to pay for it. Worth it though !!
