I'd say 60 just encase we get an point deduction. Which would be 22 points, around 1.3 points per game with 17 games left. Keeping in mind we have been going at roughly 1.31 points per game even we we have been pretty poor.

Whilst I agree with your point, you have to remember that just because they play football for high wages, it doesn’t mean they aren’t affected by things like the rest of us. They’re still human beings and just as susceptible to issues around motivation and emotions as anyone else.

I think it could do us a favour, make us lean and hungry. I believe our current plight was driven my laziness, compliancy that we had made it and can act like a big 6 club. Our best buys have general been cheap players. Sunderland spent less than 20m over 4 year before they got promoted. It took us 3 or 4 years to fall, it going to take longer to rebuild.
