Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

I like this. We’re probably going down anyway so I’d much rather see us gamble with younger players and see where it gets us. Bilal, FB and Mavididi are all wonderfully inconsistent. But I’d rather see them in the hope that it might just be a good day. The other options you probably know what you’re going to get and you also know that it probably won’t ever be good enough. -
Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

He’s been incredibly overrated by some of our fan base. A decent prospect, no doubt, but there was a reason why Brighton let him go out on loan. Having said that I’d still start him above Ayew or BDCR. We desperately need some dynamism in our front three even if it is sometimes a bit misplaced -
We’d have more points at this point if we had retained Steve Cooper
-
I’m assuming that you’re talking about the referee and not the former goalkeeper

MH Meh!, Meh!, Meh!, Meh! Meh!, Meh! Meh! Bilal, Meh! Aging GOAT Outcome: Man Utd’s easiest game since the last time they played us 4-0

Actually these all seem quite reasonable and measured reactions to our current situation

Is relegation a price worth paying for avoiding a PSR breach?

Could somebody who represents the 6% who still think we can survive let me know who their supplier is please? Thanks -
I echo this. It's not like we need an extra page for this is it?

So this is our transfer deadline day business then. Great stuff Mr. Rudkin. I take it all back!

I can only speak for myself but, frankly, i just don’t like the players in this team. They give me very little excitement or interest. If we’d have gambled on recruiting young players from the Championship or foreign leagues, who put a shift in every week, but ultimately weren’t good enough I think I’d have been more pragmatic about it. But I just can’t be arsed with the likes of BDCR, Ayew, Skipp and Odsonne ****ing Edouard. It’s just a sh*t show that was so predictable as soon as the summer transfer window shut
-
Because of injuries and no replacements recruited. I also think that the likes of Hamza and Cannon wouldn’t offer much to the first team, but might have been useful squad players. Hamza, in particular, can cover a number of positions and possibly allows for a change of shape. I don’t rate him, but his and Cannon’s departures should have been a prelude to better quality arrivals. Without that the net effect is we’re probably worse overall (squad not team).

I must admit it’s difficult to remember a time I felt this disillusioned and disenfranchised. Even during our years in the Championship there were players that you rooted for and looked forward to seeing. Now the starting eleven is just full of nonentities I don’t care about. Vardy is the GOAT, but should no longer be in the team let alone still trying to carry it. Fatawu is exciting, but injured Buananotte isn’t our player Hermandsen is a great prospect, but surely won’t be here much longer Maybe El Khannouss is the only guy I like seeing The rest just fill me with dread or irritation. A bunch of journeymen who have no desire to give their all. I see the team sheet and get angry about not only them, but the appalling transfer strategy that’s seem them arrive in the first place

Transfer master class this season. After the summer window we managed to start the season with a worse starting eleven than the one in the Championship. After the January window we’re going into the 2nd half of the season with a worse squad than the 1st half. It’s all very depressing
-
To be honest I wouldn’t even bother with him if all our wingers got injured. I’d rather just change the shape of the team. It’s not even like he’s going to make a significant difference in the Championship. Just take it whilst the offer is on the table

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Jobyfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
We were almost dead before the window. Our only hope was 2 or 3 signings that would make an immediate difference to the first team. RvN must know this and that his reputation will only be tarnished if he sticks around. I’d actually think more of him if he walks than if he stays at this point. -
Do they have a plan we don’t know about?
Jobyfox replied to WarehamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think Rudkin has a plan. It’s a bit like playing FIFA in career mode: making ridiculous bids for players, overpaying everybody, playing average players out of position …. and basically seeing how far you can push it before the game sacks you. It’s the only thing that could explain today’s news around Craig Dawson and Kasey McAteer -
Well I’m only marginally worse and I’m a fairly unfit, middle aged man, with no footballing ability
-
Irrelevant. This isn’t a Premier League squad
-
That’s true, but fairly irrelevant Seriously, if you think BDCR and Ayew were good signings either now or for the future then I don’t know where to go
-
They’re currently doing better than us because they have better squads and can move away from players like Ayew and BDCR who were only ever bang average at their peak
-
At least we’ll have all the new signings for the next game
-
You could start a thread about 10 or 11 players in our squad to demonstrate how poor we are. Ayew is one of many. A key reason we’ll go down, however, is our summer transfer window. The purchase of Ayew is emblematic of a side that has no strategy or sense of direction. He’s not the worst performer this season, but what he represents means we should look off the pitch and remove some of the suits who are clearly no longer fit for purpose. It’s a long way back and they are the ones truly to blame
-
Ok lads. Keep it tight for the first 20 minutes… … quieten the crowd… .. just concen…. Oh FFS!!!
-
No. We’ve had a few where we haven’t signed anyone. Although sometimes I think that’s better than signing a load of sh1t players that clutter up your squad, make you financially uncompetitive and lumber you with players you’ll never get rid of for a decent fee. In other words - the summer transfer window
