Sometimes you have to hold your hand up and say we were played out of the game. They marshalled Barnes and Lookman out of the game in the first half and Brendan changed that at half time to his credit but by that time and being a goal down to a Jose team it was difficult to break down.. I think our wing play was the plan for tonight. Why not that got us the goal in the first leg. But when that wasn't working we didn't really have an alternative. The only other change I think available to us in the second is bringing on a different defensive midfielder and pushing teilemans up in place of Madison of KDH. But not sure that really would have had an effect.

Let's break this down... We were outplayed. Pellegrini. Abraham and Smalling we're outstanding. They knew to play out our wing play and it looked comfortable But we should have known this from the first leg when they were clearly their best players. Personally I don't see a lot we could have done tonight. Perhaps play a different defensive midfielder. But that's it.

Slightly disappointed we didn't get a win though with the performance. But I loved the game and the night... if I thought growing up I'd see Leicester be competitive and better than a team like Roma in a semi final of a European Cup I honestly never dreamed.

Thanks...sums it up for me. Wide midfielders from the right coming inside, whilst Castagne worked hard to give the width made the difference in attack too. Madison obviously and then I'm sure it was albrighton winning the ball in the middle that set us up for the fourth.

Interesting game today for Rodger's. He'll stick with his plan of three at the back and Vardy upfront, I feel after the rumblings in the crowd and media he'll want to prove he's in charge and he knows what's best. Win and he'll galvanise the support he has around him. Lose and it's going to get tough for him and the players.
