  1. Really? That's a shame. They say to never meet your heroes
  2. More worryingly, on his reputation as a player, because his reputation as a manager is mixed at best. Also seems the next item on the list of essential qualifications was 'good aura'.
  3. He was superb for us, but I just cannot see this happening. He's on £190k a week, United are short of CBs and let's be honest, coming back here would be something of an admission of failure.
  4. Can't remember where I read it on here, but (if it's true) can you imagine how much different things would have been if Steve Walsh had rightly been promoted to DoF over the totally unqualified Rudkin? What makes this all the more galling is that Top could do everyone, not least himself, a massive favour by sacking him and getting in someone who knows what they're doing. The first part of the solution is so glaringly obvious, it's painful.
  5. We'll definitely lose, and probably pretty heavily. Two things might stop it being a cricket score. 1) They are likely to rotate having played their best 11 v Spurs. 2) The mental schedule over Christmas means they might have to manage their exertions. I can see them being 4 up at half time and then taking their foot off the pedal. If they're in the mood.... I dread to think what might happen.
  6. That's both incredibly arrogant and negligent
  7. When you hear a call from the right back and then remember you are the ****ing right back:
  8. The lack of structure and organisation in the team is very alarming. I hated Cooper's style but at least he had an idea of how he wanted to play, and the players (broadly speaking) knew their jobs. Yesterday was really troubling, there was no clear idea or pattern to anything the team did.
  9. Watched Get Gotti on Netflix. 3 part documentary on John Gotti (if you hadn't already guessed that!). Really enjoyed it. Mind-boggling what he go up to.
  10. We kept it tight until around about kick off
  11. Not picking Buonanotte is just plain daft.
  12. Time to let Nigel go? Time to get Nigel back, imho.
  13. He's a ****ing idiot, then
  14. Diaz and Gakpo like to double up to create overloads on the left, which they do to incredible effect.....and we have a right back who would struggle to get a game for Mansfield Town. Yikes.
  15. One of the main reasons we got relegated. Conceded three in no time at all last weekend and was shit again today - of course he's going to get bloody booed.
  16. Inspires absolutely no confidence in those around him. Makes everyone around him even worse.
  17. I think some people can't separate what Vichai did for the club from what Top has done to the club.
  18. Why is he working with such a tiny coaching team? I can't understand this at all. Just seems amateurish on everyone's part, even by our pathetic standards
  19. Worst part is that my expectations were so low today, and yet they still managed to massively disappoint.
  20. My wife's family are all Liverpool fans. I'm absolutely dreading this.
  21. I'd love to know if there's ever even been so much as an awkward conversation between Top and Rudkin. I just can't comprehend how such abject failure can be so easily tolerated.
  22. Honestly don't think he'd standout if he played in League 1. He's stealing a living, currently. More fool the club for putting us in a position where he is our ONLY option at right back.
