  1. Get Big Sam in at least we'll win some matches. Looking at the goals scored in the Prem last long and long throws are back in
  2. 100 percent
  3. 1 goal in 46 appearances. Sadly Ayew is better
  4. Have to agree. Another manager that thinks his style is better than creating a style to suit this team.
  5. He had a chance in the cup match and didn't take it. Probably knocked him back a bit
  6. Ricci can't probably play 2 games in a week yet, better to rest him
  7. Only just saw the match as been away. Love his defending for the goal, back off, back off, back off and fall on arse. He's absolutely crap when people run at him
  8. Have to agree. I'm becoming to like him. Half time changes were sensible, gave us more control and a bit more of an attacking threat being a man down. Soumare and Skipp had to start, they having been the starters in the last 2 games we won. Sends the wrong message if dropped. The others have to play there way in, James surely will start soon. Winks probably still moping about and soft in the tackle, otherwise he starts. Realistically we shouldn't have got a point from that, yet we were the better team 2nd half
  9. Good luck to him. Never really got a fair crack of the whip here, was on the back front from the start. Completely different footballing outlook to Maresca. Forest have just done the same, gone from a manager who loves to defend to one that has no idea what defence means, could be a good watch
  10. Nice to be reminded of what a player Heskey was.
  11. He got knocked out in his last match and came round thinking he was a goalkeeper. In all fairness dislocated elbow and needed/had an op so out for awhile
  12. It's a toss up between RVN and Peter Taylor for me. I think RVN just for his sheer ineptness if judging it on managerial skills. Peter Taylor for virtually destroying our club after taking over from MON and just basically signing complete dross. Special mention for Sousa for literally turning players into a shell of themselves within a few weeks
  13. Or he's just not as good as he thinks he is. I'm wondering if Dewsbury Hall made him look a lot better than we think or when he plays the passes he says aren't there due to players around him not seeing it. So we are both stuck with each other. It's a risky game for him as when his contract expires I doubt he will be inundated with offers
  14. Literally thought we'd signed the old guy from Strictly
  15. We talking about Skipps hairline?
  16. Looks the type. I've never taken to him, I'd happily see him gone
  17. If there was VAR he wouldn't have been on the pitch
  18. I reckon Martis looked out the amount of goals we conceded down the flanks with the FBs attacking last season. He's adapting to what we've got, I reckon it will evolve when he can actually get some of his own players in
  19. I think that goal sort of sums up what you expect from a kid that age at that level. He did everything well till the past, which wasn't into Abduls run but slightly behind. Abdul was quick enough to correct his feet and score a blinder. However Page had realised his pass wasn't great and was ready to try and hit the deflection. That's split second thinking. I like him more than Bilal already, not saying he's better
  20. He's got Mavadidi infront of him, who is basically shit at getting back and defending. If he over or underlaps we would get overly exposed. Bit the same keeping Hamza behind Abdul and not starting Ricky. Although Abdul far better at getting back
  21. He's a kid. He's gonna be good 60% of the time, Average 25% and doggo the rest. Wasn't his best game, but he works harder than Bilal
  22. Thought he had a great game tonight. I feel we need to keep him here this season
  23. Not a fan, but he's an upgrade on what we have
  24. I'm assuming the money hits our accounts quite quickly. Therefore puts us in a better in a negotiating position. Say a player is £10m, one club offers this and structure it to pay £2.5m over 4 years, whereas as we could offer £7m either upfront or in 2 payments so they have their money in a year. £7m starts to look the attractive option and we get the player. Technically we've saved ourselves £3m in the purchase fee and the interest is £800k so we are £2.2m better off. Now this looks like great business sense if you but talent you can sell on in the future, but it's absolute guff if you've just spanked it on Oliver Skipp. Like Globalfox said, it looks like a complete reset at the club but they can't sell that to the fans.
  25. Shouldn't be allowed on the radio drunk
