  1. Is the red bull system just not Liverpools system in the 70s and 80s
  2. Pretty much every manager gets sacked
  3. 314 pages and literally sod all has happened
  4. He could be the ideal candidate for right now. We would need to invest in some quality coaches alongside him, but it's interesting who these guys get to know on when doing their badges. Like i've said before he commanded respect at the club with the senior and youth players when he was here. Pearson obviously thinks he has something about him too. I'm sure the youth players would definitely look upto him here. You've got to start somewhere and I'm not all out advocating he takes the job. However there's a lot worse alternatives. I also wonder if all the naysayers on here would change there minds if it was Esteban Cambiasso dong Kingys job right now
  5. I'm looking forward to seeing the new signings play
  6. I've up for having a go this season with no manager, just see who turns up on the day to play Would be more interesting than last season
  7. Exactly. Everyone will be wishing Southgates back in charge after the next World Cup
  8. That's why PSR is completely stupid
  9. Massively impressed with Anderson. Newcastle stupid in letting him go
  10. My one sticking point with Rohl is that he's said he wants to go back to Germany. It sort of feels a bit Maresca like where he will leave as soon as he gets the chance, leaving us looking for another manager within 12 months. I know managers dont last long but I'd like to see someone try and build something here again, they are generally the most exciting times
  11. I know Bannan was looking for a house in Stanton awhile back, same place Mavadidi lives
  12. I'm similar. But then I was about Ranieri and Pearson and they didn't do too bad He's walking from one shit show to another i feel
  13. I think it's got to be Rohl now. His compo goes into this years accounts, as does Ruud's payoff and we take the hit in one go
  14. I'm thinking they know they are taking a hit with PSR, so might as well go all in. Pay Ruud off and get someone in and pay his compensation to the club also. Take the hit and points deductions in one go. Looks like it might be Rohl
  15. It will be interesting if we get Rohl to see who is the better manager - him or Will Still. Both similar as started off as video analysists and worked their way up
  16. I think you'll find all football managers have zero experience in football management until they actually become a manager. Danny Rohls football career was pretty unspectacular, but a large sway of Leicester fans seem to think he's the next coming I'm not advocating for King to become our manager, but it does annoy me that it seems most people have an if he's English then he'll be shit mentality.
  17. Why not? I believe he was one of the main leaders in the camp when with us. Set the standards with the younger players in the changing room. He's probably more management material than you think. An experienced pro that's played in League 1, Championship, Premier League (winning them all, so knows about pressure) and played in Europe. A lot of the top pros at the club thought highly of him
  18. I disagree with the Dyche anti youth brigade. Less than 4% of academy players make a professional appearance and around 0.5% actually make a living from the game. A few years back a stat of 0.012% get to play 1 Premier League minute. So saying he's not chucking in several youth team players in a season is complete crap. Keep in mind the top teams are also cherry picking from lower league teams to bolster there academies and he's probably been on track for bringing kids through, especially when he's managed in a Manchester and Liverpool catchment area. Leicester do quite well developing youth team players and are probably slightly ahead of the curve, so I'd hope he would have slightly better options if he does come in
  19. I reckon we should go for Luke Williams. Championship experience and currently working at Bristol airport helping people with mobility issues. Should sort our defence right out with that experience
  20. I'm not even sure Cooper was 3rd or 4th choice last season. We're probably a better prospect this season for managers to look at us
  21. I can't see it being Rohl, unless he walks. Sensible thing for us is an out of work manager. Dyche ticks a lot of boxes if your looking to recruit. Managed in both Championship and the Prem, experienced Championship run in races as well as prem relegation battles. Promotions from the Championship, dealt with monetary issues and lack of signings. Dealt with points deductions. Looks and sounds like he takes no crap. He makes a team competitive. I just think he might be the right guy for now to restart and rebuild. Personally as I said at the start of the year I would have gone all out for Rosenior, but that ain't happening
  22. No change from last season then
