  1. Used to go to these as a teenager with my mates in the 90s. One of my mates used to think Neil Lewis would be the next big thing. To be fair he broke into the first team
  2. Most skillfull player I've ever seen at City.
  3. I'd forgotten about him and was it Nigel Worthington at somepoint too Hopefully not going back to those times
  4. Another bullet dodged
  5. Can we afford to sack him in this financial year? I sort of feel he's going to be contrated till the end of June. He can spend a month on the beach and keep his mouth shut. While hopefully a new manager is in place, but not announced and organising in the background. Wishful thinking maybe
  6. Gutted he's gone. Could've been the next Patson Daka
  7. Vardy - What a legend
  8. Have to agree. O'Neill was never a 3 - 5 - 2 manager, until he came here and saw what he had to play with. He then built his team around that. Problem then is you sort of end up stuck in that system as it's harder to evolve the team. So he gets a system that works and if it keeps working he sticks with it, if not he then looks to evolve The other end of the scale are managers like Russell Martin who have their style of play, which once it doesn't work they have no idea how to evolve it.
  9. Having watched him play yesterday I wouldn't say no. He was the main leader out there and clearly has a will to win. Seems like he would be no nonsense type of manager. Plus he's still better than our current midfield on the ball
  10. That's the problem signing older players. Legs go they defend deeper. Faes pressing like a twat makes it look a whole lot worse
  11. Fair play.
  12. Eli Kroupie if Bournemouth fancy loaning him
  13. Inevitable What a player though, thank you for the memories Jamie
  14. Compared to RVN, that record looks amazing
  15. His footballing style gets you out of the championship. The problem is once up it leaves his teams wide open against every Premier team. Some of Norwich's best performances where against the likes of Man City and the more expansive footballing sides. Basically this is how we probably would have been under Enzo. So I can see why Leeds are maybe looking, but then do they go and get a Dyche type manager. I think Farke is a fairly decent manager, but you can't build a stable Prem side with him. He'ld fair better at a bigger club, with better players in place
  16. Russell Martin I reckon, he was there a long time as a player. Hopefully gets him off our radar
  17. I'd be wary of Plymouth managers. Some seem to show promise like Lowe and Schumacher before moving on and not doing a lot
  18. Closer to his girlfriend who's been ill. There's a few reasons we look more attractive than France
  19. I really do hope so
  20. He was more than solid today. Left isolated a lot with Mavadidi and coped with Salah well. Also having to tuck in due to Faes being nowhere as usual, meaning he's having to make decisions of who to pick and where to be. I'd back him first choice left back next year and one less position to have to find a player
  21. I actually don't think he's a bad manager. However, he's very much in the this is my personal brand of football and I won't change it for anything. Which works better at very elite clubs and not us. So i hope we steer well clear
  22. I'm hoping it's Kevin Russell so i can shout Rooster from the stands again
  23. If this is a thread on gameshows related to RVN, then I'm adding Pointless
