Send your other half to the football.

And good to see his brother win the DP Tour event this week. Talented family.

I think it's more that he's pals with Richard Scudamore who joined the Board there a year or 2 ago. The latter point you would be correct.
-
And of course Roy was briefly Bristol City manager over 40 years ago! Struber was starting to get grumpy and calling out the hierarchy as well, which we know already (e.g. Sir Nige), Lansclown who is notoriously thin skinned, does not like one bit. Hilarious stuff.

They genuinely couldn't be arsed. Although Knight at CB tells you the extent of their defensive injury problems. WBA are shit though. They're still well in the relegation mix.

Wow is that Vesty in that picture? Don't think I've ever seen him smile. Takes years off of him. He should try it more often.

LCFC 2-0 Bristol City, post-match thread
Brizzle Fox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think what they mean is that they outplayed Leicester in the sense of being poorer than Leicester. Poor grammar but not really salty, unless of course we were really good last night, which I couldn't comment on as I didn't watch the game. -

Bloody hell wonders will never cease! Could be a season changing moment that. -

Agreed. Didn't watch it last night as asleep trying to shake off a fever, but great to wake up to a win and a clean sheet. However the key is following up now, and using this to gain some well needed self-confidence. Beat QPR at the weekend and we maybe can say we've turned a corner. As I said elsewhere Bristol City are a broken football club at the moment, after another ruinous January transfer window, the players have downed tools and the disconnect between fans, ownership and DoF is reminiscent of another club I can think of... If you think this place is a pit of despair then you should see their forum at the moment! Was a must win last night and we did what we had to do. Let's enjoy it but let's see what happens next. One final point, is it really correct that Bristol City got a penalty last night? Impossible. That's their first away penalty in 3 years! The EFL really must hate us to allow that to happen. -
Favourite racing week of the year, but can't stand going anymore. Too busy, with too many pissed up Peaky Blinders wannabes in terribly fitting suits (yes I'm old and a snob). Will do my nut from the safety of my own home / office instead again, except for Friday where we now have an annual tradition of renting part of a pub and watching the whole thing in comfort. Haven't even looked at who I'm going to back yet. Will probably just go race to race and not over study the form which has been my downfall on many occasions.

That's not happening mate. That was where they were before ****ing their season in the Jan transfer window. They're cooked.

Coventry are very efficient. That is all I have to say really.

Not a phrase I use very often but a definite must win and probably the best chance we have of a win amongst the games we have left (excluding Sheff Weds)... They have nothing to play for. One fit CB who is a newish signing. No strikers who know where the net is. One of their best players suspended after being sent off today. Confidence through the floor. So obviously a 2 0 away win.

The legend that was Ade Akinbyi.....

A record that will never be broken...

A game between 2 teams whose fans (well the ones with at least half a brain), really really dislike their owners and DoF (or equivalent). Bristol City have 1 fit centre back yet Leicester have 0 fit or unfit strikers to take advantage. Comfortable 2 0 away win.

That's wild. So basically Israel was about to illegally attack Iran so America joined in the attack because that illegal attack would have led to an attack on them. Can't believe he even said that out loud. Crazy times.

It's scary how MTG is now the voice of reason. There's a great interview with her that she did in the last day or so online which absolutely nails it. Lots of sweary words so not posting up!

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Just doing a bit of everyday admin at work and his office blew up. Very unfortunate for him -
With the sizeable KP FC mob it feels a bit like when you're in a failing relationship. You stay in that failing relationship to the disregard of any logic, for much too long, constantly reflecting on the happier times to provide you with solace and the irrational thought that those happier times will return. Spoiler alert.... they won't.

Yeah something like 36 pts in the last 20 games since he took over from Manning. They are a decent side. Us on the other hand....

I read that tweet more as subtle sarcasm / irony, calling out the hypocrisy of Trump when it comes to anything Russia.....

Labour will sort their act out before the next general election, so although a bad night for then (and they'll have a few more before things get better) not the end of the world. Genuinely think though this is worse for Reform and shows a trend following both the by elections we had in Scotland and Wales recently. They seem to have a strong core vote but it has quite a low ceiling, and the disproportionate amount of publicity they get on the TV and in the written press, can be detrimental rather than beneficial to them, as more people get exposed to their rhetoric. Another example last night being the totally ungracious response to losing by Goodwin. For so many people it will be "anyone but Reform" at the next GE, and I think that proportion of people will only increase as time goes by.
