  1. King does get minutes still but his legs have gone. James is injured but was playing superb before this, and as soon as he got injured Bristol's form has dropped off a cliff. As I've said elsewhere the manager has managed to lose the dressing room and fans in record time. The bloke is clueless and the football is so boring. Did beat Southampton though. In all seriousness if City can't beat this lot then even my natural optimism would die and play offs will be a near certainty. They are that bad at the moment.
  2. We'll win the next game to go back top and build momentum again from there. I genuinely think we'll still win this thing, crazy old fool that I am.
  3. As I said in another thread I thought it was decent from where I was sitting in the Chelsea Family Stand, even if the singing was a bit disjointed between upper and lower as you often get with bigger away followings. As an aside and apologies for the poor picture quality but £38 is an absolute ****ing disgrace tbqh.
  4. Will second that. Was sat amongst the Chelsea rent boys in the section next to the away end and sounded good pretty much all game.
  5. We should have a pretty much fully fit squad for this one. Bristol City have one of, if not the worst record in the league in 2024. Bristol City play a mind numbingly boring possession first style of football. Bristol City have a moronic, psychobabble spouting, robot as manager. Said manager has already managed to lose the dressing room and fans. Should be an easy away win.
  6. What romantic nonsense. With Mark Ashton there as CEO that is most unlikely. Loves splashing the big contracts around does our Mark.
  7. His 3rd party in 6 years. Hope he enjoys his last few months in Parliament. Kinda love the irony that Cameron only called the Brexit referendum to keep the Conservative Party together, and it will end up ripping it asunder in a much worse way than if he hadn't bothered. I am so here for that.
  8. Yeah it's very much away friendly. Gets very busy though.
  9. Going to this one and kinda looking forward to it, even if a tad disillusioned with football at the moment. Only downside is that I'll be in with the Chelsea lot, so I hope I have something to inwardly celebrate (as unlikely as that would seem...).
  10. We don't. It's very funny though. This chap seems weirdly obsessed....tbf not just by us by any Midlands club. It's quite bizarre.
  11. Hey @urban.spaceman your fame reaches far and wide.. https://www.otib.co.uk/topic/198743-the-championship-ffp-thread-merged/page/176/#comments
  12. FA Cup of course.
  13. Love this...
  14. Tbf Bristol City have lost to pretty much everyone but Southampton in 2024...
  15. @Parafox if you need me to substantiate this then let me know and I'll DM you.
  16. Cardiff and QPR double and a load of in play bets that all came in. Lobster and champagne tonight!
  17. Well at least the rest of our games this month are away from home so.we should be OK.
  18. In the context of how people vote in an election I meant. Oh and I can't ever remember corresponding with you on this thread nor know who you are, so I'd love it if you could dig out some of my other 'unfounded knee-jerk statements '. I'm always looking for self improvement opportunities.
  19. No he's talking about Bedminster Cricket Ground and yes it is still open to park in and the bar is usually open. Although tbh I'd head to North Street. Loads of pubs.
  20. Not really. Most voters couldn't care less about Gaza. Might hurt Labour in a handful of Northern, heavily Muslim seats, but won't be material in GE terms.
  21. No we will not bottle it. We will continue to be flat track bullies and get more than enough points via that route to win the league. This season not getting results against the few decent teams in this league isn't going to hurt us. It will next season if we don't do a lot of work, personnel and mentality wise in the summer, but let's worry about that after this season is done.
  22. This. I couldn't get a bet on a Leeds win quick enough at this point. It was inevitable. Once we lose our momentum in games we find it impossible to get it back. Is it to do with tactics, mentality, I don't know. I'll leave that to the football experts on this forum to opine on.
  23. All the games next weekend are one off 12 pts to the winner games. New EFL initiative to shake things up a bit.
  24. That Josh Sargent fella at Norwich. Plays at start of season they're good. He gets injured they're shite. He gets fit again they're good again. A very nice player indeed, but could he make the step up. Probably. Maybe. Dunno.
