Bobby's a good lad, got a bit of ability, can play several positions and is free. Decent squad addition.

Exactly. Voting is not that binary. You could as easily and as irrelevantly focus on the progressive centre left and go for. Labour + Lib Dem = 47% Labour + Green = 42% Labour + Lib Dem + Green = 54% If you wanted you could probably throw the Nationalists in there as well. As you say seems to be something that the commetariat seems to only see as a centre right thing. Kuensberg was annoyingly banging on about this last night as well, as she wiped away her tears. Much too simplistic an interpretation of any voting intentions.

What a night but it did seem that Leicestershire was doing a different election.....

Portugal vs Slovenia - Monday 1st July - 8pm
Brizzle Fox replied to StanSP's topic in General Football and Sport
I'm surprised Ronaldo didn't try to take all the Portugal pens...and the Slovenian ones I'd nearly forgotten how many Portugese players are in the upper echelons of players I really really dislike...Pepe, Ronaldo. Rat Boy, Cancelo but most of all Jota. My god I really dislike Jota. Supremely talented squad however who would have a decent chance of winning the tournament if they had a decent manager, with big enough balls to not let Ronaldo manage on his behalf. Like a spoilt kid who brings his ball to the playground and wont let anyone else play with him. -
I'd suggest its a bit more than that. It's the thought that with Labour potentially getting such a large majority, that the traditional Tory press is seeing its influence disappearing in front of its own eyes. No coincidence this has led to the slew of ridiculous apocalyptic leaders splashed across all these rags' front pages this morning.

English officials favouring the big team. Can't wait for the season to start. -

Switzerland vs Italy - Saturday 29th June

One of the worst Italy teams I've ever seem and Switzerland should have won their group. Swiss win for me this one. -
Yeah I appreciate that there are both pros and cons to zero hour contracts from both an employee and employer perspective, so there needs to be a more nuanced, controlled approach to this subject, focusing on bad practices rather than an outright ban.

Indeed. Designed to appeal to retired Reform leaning racists who probably won't see any online attack ads anyway. A bold tactic.

I saw this yesterday, have now watched it several times and am still trying to work out what is not to like from what the magnificent Ms Rayner is saying.... Has it really got to the stage where CCHQ are actively promoting Labour. Very odd indeed.

Group C: Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, England
Brizzle Fox replied to Mark's topic in General Football and Sport
Nah the Swiss will beat Italy and we'll lose to them instead. Or maybe we'll continue to channel the style of the Greek Euro winners and go all the way. -
Finances don’t build a team, talent and hard work does.

I seen it in a documentary on BBC2... -

God I love this Austria team. Proper dark horses. Bound to lose in the last 16. -
I'm genuinely in tears reading that thread...there is indeed a very thin line between parody and reality

Stuart Attwell. -
She's actually a very decent, principled, intelligent Tory. There's not many of them in parliament at the moment so I hope she gets reelected.

Bristol Central is their best hope. Won all the council seats in that constituency at the recent local elections and have activists everywhere.

I believe Matt Goodwin once many years ago was seen as a credible academic. Now he just commissions polls within his right wing, grifting echo chamber. I suppose that's where the money is these days.

Tbqh it doesn't really matter who KPFC appoint as manager and what style of football they play, as looking at the ticket price increases, no one will be able to afford to go and watch them anyway...

Maybe they think he'll give them shares in his Limited Company. Share the wealth.
