Yep, Leicestershire received £400,000 today which they can spend as they wish. But when they get the larger amounts they have to clear debt first, which is right and proper. Then they must make long term investments rather than simply going after high profile players. Clearly need to make the ground produce income all year round. Perhaps they could tear down the Meet, make it into a first class meeting and conference venue for example, with a little bit of seating in front of it.
