  1. Good attitude. His headed goals are a bonus. He seems to have football intelligence. I don't see him as a Premier League player (if he stays, I hope I'm wrong). If we can get a few million for him, it could help us financially. If he stays, could the chances of academy players with a higher ceiling be inhibited?
  2. Of cou rse it's a trophy. Not a major trophy. You can only compete to win the competitions that you are in. I struggle to think of the Community Shield as a trophy but it's hard to qualify for! If you count out all our leagues wins, cups and shields, we win a trophy, on average, every 8 and three quarter years because we are massivish.
  3. Is this thread football related?
  4. I just looked at the Ndidi thread. No news on KDH there. If this is legit, great news.
  5. I hope he has a decent career building on being an FA Cup winner. He was over-hyped by many because he wasn't Chilwell (who had, imo, relieved ridiculous negativity from some of the fan base despite his high level of ability).
  6. 45 points and hope that 35 is enough to avoid relegation
  7. Could we afford to? He's a good player. It didn't work out at Leicester. He'll have a good career. If he came back happily, he'd be good for us. But he won't. Selling him should raise a bit of what we need.
  8. Imo it would be a bit of a coup to keep him. He had a bit of a blip last year but he is a Premier League player. I suspect we will regret him playing very well for some other team if he goes.
  9. Posts like this are beyond my understanding. Iheanacho has offered a lot over the years even if it wasn't as much as we hoped. I wish him well. My favourite Iheanacho moment was the assist to the assist when his groin had gone. A brilliant pass when he must have felt like going down.
  10. Loyalty from Enzo. It would have been good to see Alves and Braybrooke on the bench. But he's stuck with the squads. He's giving goodbyes.
  11. You would be sent to the balloon bursting factory
  12. I hope Alves and Braybrooke are on the bench and get minutes. Had Alves not played a couple of days ago, I would have wanted him to start.
  13. Until next year?
  14. That would work as a chant. Thanks. Great rhythm
  15. I'm watching. I'm taking nothing for granted. Does anyone have a suggested tune for a new chant: Come on QPR Don't concede 3?
  16. Punctuation is useful; it makes sense to use it.
  17. Hamza- brilliant goal line clearances. Fatawu brilliant assist. They were the four stand out moments
  18. I was happier with him there
  19. Are you doubting Google images? The negativity on this forum!
  20. It's been really stressful watching us recently. In case we mess up on Tuesday, maybe we should plan on sending holiday brochures to Lancashire. Preston can already start laying out the towels and Blackburn should be getting out buckets and spades before the last game of the season.
  21. I detest seeing players scapegoated on the forum. So it was fantastic to see Hamza being immense today. I think Hamza likes to see the game in front of him. Making goal-line clearances, he has the game in front of him! He can't play on our goal line but rb, not inverted, could be his best position. I don't think he has anywhere near a 360 view either in or out of possession.
  22. This forum is a state. A talented player. Committed to the club he supports. Puts in a shift every game. Has improved. Plays on the front foot. One of the league's top players. But comments on here: he's arrogant; his clothing choices are questionable; he's average. Good to see the positive posts but they are dissolved a bit by the toxicity. Our issues seems to be the space the defence leaves partly because of the inverted full back and our difficulties in finishing- as some have said, KDH is not a problem
  23. We lose 1-0 Having dominated possession without looking like scoring. A loose moment sees us lose the ball. They attack down the right. A player finds themselves one on one with Faes. Great finish. It won't happen but I would replace our cbs with Coady and Nelson. Play Winks and Ndidi as a double pivot . Allow Ricardo and Justin to push forward. Ndid to fill in. If things are tight late on, take KDH off at the advanced midfielder and let Iheanacho play as a 10.
