Moving on players is an issue. To attract players, ridiculous money has to be spent. Clubs want to move on under performing players. Other clubs don't want to buy under-performing players. Throw in the amortisation rules, clubs end up not being able to shift players. Vestergaard has become a fixture in the team. We couldn't shift him. Players like Ward can investigate their futures by not playing in football matches.

Any toxicity in this thread? I can't be bothered to search for it but @Finneganposted a bit of common sense about this. We have had some poor windows under Rudkin. But he was around around when we won the league. And the cup. Some of the opinions are so over the top. It's uncomfortable to read. Imo, not signing Sensi and a backup player returning to their club is not a disaster. Perhaps Rudkin should move on. Any replacement would have an element of risk. Our season is going well. Our top of the league team is being heckled by some fans. Bit of over reaction imo

Happy fourth birthday.

We have a squad of over 20 decent players. Some players are better than decent. Maybe 7 would be starting at many premier league teams. We are top of the league by a margin. We have lost one loan player. Negotiations to sign an injury prone player were difficult. No wonder so many people have lost their ships. It's an absolute disaster. My day us ruined. I support a football team who have struggled to sign a player! How will I cope with life? Surely, free counselling should be offered to users of this forum. And some players will sometimes pass backwards at the weekend!
-
Or perhaps people will support the team. How about a compromise? Only boo the team if you're less than 5 years old.

I can't believe we haven't signed him in this thread. I don't know enough about him to be pleased that we've signed him in another thread.

We have two or three players for every position. Except cf, we have 4, and central midharrywinks, we have 1. I don't think anyway replaces Winks adequately at the moment. As we have four strikers and Iheanacho is arguably fourth choice, we should let him go. Some would say he's arguably first choice but I'd argue with them. If we can get a few million for him, imo it would be good business.

This is legit. Part of Ricardo's class is his anticipation.

His shot stopping was exceptional. Getting caught on the ball, and some dodgy passing caused concern. He needs regular game time but we can't afford to send him out on loan.

LCFC Vs. Birmingham City (3-0 W) Post Match Thread

Perhaps the poster lost count -
He could play in any team. He may not be the top player in a top team but he would be a more than capable water-carrier. Brighton are very good but they are not a top side. If Brighton want him, De Zerbi will probably have a plan how to use him. KDH provides fantastic energy. His ball retention is strong. He is progressive. He's a competitor. He is building numbers with assists and goals. The difference he makes to our team is phenomenal.

I had a repetitive dream about impossible admin at work, I'm expecting IT glitches next week

I would like to see KDH still here in five years time. Although this season, on this forum, I've learned he's a poor player many times, I think he's a top player. Rodgers under-using him is, imo, one of the marginals of us being relegated and having to consider selling him. I hope he remains with us. We are a far better team with him. The rules with transfers are weird that selling academy players, who can be the heartbeat of a club, is an attractive prospect. Would Ecerton had sold Gordon were the rules different? Would we have sold Barnes (more likely because of our relegation? Would Chelsea (yes, they have a ridiculous transfer policy anyway) have sold Mount and be considering selling Gallacher?

What subject was his degree. Wasn't it something with a mathematical element?

Luke Thomas to Middlesbrough until the end of the season

People have been saying for years he needs a loan to a championship club -
Strong bench

And there are many posts here that are offensive about people being offensive. Personally, I wouldn't sing "Feed the..." when playing a Merseyside club. But people do. The Millwall fans behaviour is unpleasant. Embarrassing.
-
I'm embarrassed for them. It's not offensive; it's a pathetic attempt at being offensive. They're hardly a danger to society. A ban from Millwall ground may be in order. A caution maybe.

Other people read this forum too! It would be a shame to see Ward go. Without his world class performances, Leicester may well have finished below 18th place last season. When Ward is between the sticks, the confidence of defenders visibly grows. He is an inspirational figure. For short periods of every match he has played in, he has conceded no goals. He is taller than average.

They play in different positions? Who would have thought that? Thanks, guys.

Amartey in a squad that Fatawu isn't good enough for. Ghana must be the flat earth society of the football world.

When we started last season so badly, Rodgers had to go. After three games. Then after 4 games etc. Until game 8. Then he had to go after the World Cup. The decline was painful. But he is a legend. The FA Cup win.
