I agree Maddison will be sold. But saying this is very assuming we need funds. Nobody knows for sure what the financial situation is. If we sell Maddison for say 40m. How much do we spend to replace him. 10 , 20? How much profit after we pay Norwich their share is left.. we then end up with what I'll guess is a weaker number 10 for the promotion push. I dont think it's madness to give an opinion he might stay. Its unlikely but who knows what discussions or plans the club have.

It's normal for a relegation clause to be added to all prem players contracts. Quite standard. He prob has a pay cut and its legally binding in his contract. All the players under contract should have this. This said we are entitled to negotiate a bonus if we go up etc this season I'd we're pushing for him to stay.

We won't sell him unless a good offer is made. Regardless of what league we are in. We have never sold players for low ball offers since KP took over. Not going to suddenly start now. He may request to leave. He has 2 years left. Judging by previous years valuations. I'm going to guess that 40-45m would be the selling point. I think he'll be here next season. If we get a good offer and reinvest in the squad then im happy. If he stays, I'm happy.

This is far more exciting than the majority of dross we've been linked with. Let's hope for the following: -he brings his own backroom team and coaches. -he has learned from pep. -he has an open door at Man City for us to bring some young and exciting players in on loan. -he has the tactical knowledge over and above the managers in this league. -he has some balls to rebuild lcfc, the squad, the fitness / sports therapy / the recruitment etc. It's a risk but it's exciting. In any business (including any other football team bar us), he would of been fired based on his performance. Really doesn't make any sense that he still has a job. But he does, he won't be going anywhere, even if we lose the next 5 games. Sadly, for some reason, Top continues to rate him. Loosing interest in football at the moment. LCFC is bad for my mental health.
