I think this signing has potential to suprise many of us. We need leaders who are ready for one hell of a battle. He fits the character. Simply removing Amartey and replacing with this guy should make us much stronger.

Success or failure, the responsibility is on the owner. If he employed persons to handle affairs he removes said people if they fail and re appoints. Its not one season.

I'm not worried about relegation after 4 games 🙈. Why? Because I trust Top and his family. Keep your heads. It's a tough start but there are many factors causing this. Yes Brendan is done here and will likely be sacked soon. But assuming we will certainly be relegated after 4 games is crazy. Trust our owners.

This would be a good signing but it will cost us. They just brought him for 16m pounds / 20m euros. You would imagine they will want a tidy profit to sell. Probably between 30 and 35m. Can't see us spending anything above 20m on a CB given out current position needing other positions covered also. If Perez leaves and when Fofana is announced we should have the wages to cover both positions. Need Top to agree most of the Fofana money can be spent.

Highly doubt he will leave now. We won't sack him a few days before the window shuts, that's if we are actively looking for a few new players. Very hard for players to be convinced if we don't have a manager. I generally think he will be here until the world cup and I'm dreading where we will be at this point.

I see your points. A cynic could say the training ground and approved stadium/ surround area is asset building which increases value. Also, with King Power suffering due to covid. Also, with new investors buying clubs in the prem league, it's become harder and harder to compete financially. Was running through my mind this morning. But I doubt we're up for sale. But to an investor we would be quite appealing on a commercial view. Football side not so right now.

I think this is another PR stunt by Rogers. Clearly he's not involved in the decision to sell. The board have control and judging by our history they won't budge on the valuation. Rogers wants money for the window and time for us to invest. The board want 80m plus for Fofana. I have a feeling he will be here for this season. Once the window shuts it will all get sorted and he will need to perform if he wants his move or chance for a world cup this year. I think we have to stand strong. It's never about just this transfer but future dealings, imagine we're a car dealership and have a couple of luxury cars for sale. If we drop the price massively then the reputation falls and any client will want a cut price. Say our dealership has many shit cars too so we must make max revenue on the few luxury ones. If he had of been sacked / walked away late Sunday evening. No announcement would be made until Monday anyway, highly doubt our PR team were working so late. Still praying we hear something today.

Club is in turmoil. We can't be any worse than we are now. I'm 100% sure if we stay around the bottom of the table then Top will make a change. There's no way he will sit and watch this for much longer.
