Well that is stupid (though those goal kicks were so dumb that you'd like to think the players would override the manager's instructions on that). But you only need to look at the lack of criticism he had in this thread for a good patch for he was at fault or played a big part in several goals being conceded, to show that he's actually got off very lightly. Nelson being included has massively improved his performances which isn't a surprise
-
As by magic, he's played in his best position and suddenly he's quite good
-
Been awful this season but absolutely fantastic today. Probably his best game defensively for us.
-
Good shot stopper, great (for a modern keeper) aerially but very poor with his feet and his concentration is shocking. Not helped by these dumb goal kicks
-
That's probably even more stupid then if he took photos of it and let them get onto the the internet. Either way, it's a complete pattern of unprofessional behaviour at a time when it can be ill-afforded. Yes, lots of them are probably morons but not all of them seem to get caught up, let alone with his hit rate in the past 12 months. This all comes back to the fact he's twice been dropped for his crap attitude and the performances have certainly backed that up
-
No. For all the crap signings and players (many worse than Hamza), he probably epitomises the state we're in more than anyone else. How he's continually been kept on is mind blowing.
-
It's not that hypothetical though is it. He's been called out for it and dropped by multiple managers. He's the guy holding that stupid Enzo sign. He's supposedly refused to stay at the training ground 1 night a week (the kind of flexibility expected in most office job contracts). He stormed down the tunnel at Preston (I think it was) when the other players came over to the fans. He's gone into to majority of challenges so half-hearted this season. You're right that we'll never know exactly what has gone on but there's an overwhelming amount of anecdotal and actual evidence stacked up against him. Hardly unfair for us to come this conclusion. End of the day, as fans you're always going to have speculate to some extent since we'll never know the true story, so best we can do is base it on what we hear and have seen.
-
If you've watched him play this season, don't understand how you can reach this conclusion. He's been a total liability bar a couple of little cameos. It would be punishing ourselves to play him
-
Even the Bristol City back of shirt sponsor is wanting Skipp to do well
-
Good pep talk from Choudhury by the looks of it
-
Dubious that one. Proper left his leg in there but really dense defending. Was Ayew's good play on the first place that got the corner so well deserved
-
Great play from Ayew there

As others, any water that can be shared?

Interesting to out yourself as Devil worshipping
-
Nightmare fuel. Skipp's face inserted into a picture of Faes
-
Yes, I completely agree but he didn't do that did he? Strange example to use. The team completely retreated into their shell before he made any changes. He made 3 like for like changes and then a couple that were more defensive minded, because he didn't have the other options. Not making any changes would have been mental
-
Or do you think it's players lacking confidence because they've been cack?
-
Beat me by seconds!

Was going to say, his immediate use of Aluko after the sending off, when needing to see out the game is something he deserves some credit for. Would have been easy to cast him aside after that.
-
Don't think he was particularly great but did little wrong. There was a bit near the end where Agyemang had him 1 on 1 and Nelson was patient before winning the ball. Immediately thought that if that was Faes, he may well have won the ball but it would have been by throwing himself at the ball increasing the risk of losing it. Think he's played quite within himself so far and I mean that as a compliment. If things go his way and he works hard, he's a 50+ cap England player
-
How is that not a red card
-
This is the ultimate sign of a team with no confidence
-
The last couple of games, he's suddenly shown the ability to pass. I think that's because he's been deeper and been allowed to do that. Him sitting in there and screening has given cover but also allowed 2 centre mids to get forward. It's completely changed the way we can play
-
The fact that their defenders have made Vestergaard look good (even with that pathetic attempt at cutting out the cross there), says a lot
