A very strong team. In fact, I'd argue that if we have a 'best eleven' right now then that's it. 4-0 Daka x 2, Vestegaard, Dewsbury-Hall.

There’s truth in this Daggers. The only part that I can really object to is the nest feathering. I do not think that would have happened to the extent it did if it were labour running it. The greediness and self-centeredness of this sitting government was shown in stark light. Multiple instances of law breaking and outright theft that I simply cannot see the Labour Party doing. The handling of it I can look past - it was dreadful, unprecedented, and difficult to manage. I think that was tough to deal with. I think the Labour Party MAY have done better but that cannot be proven.

You know what - it isn’t worth it. -
You don't build for the single year though. It'll be lifetime earnings that they'll want to safeguard. Decades of season tickets, amenities - merch & food and so on. They could have really safeguarded this by investing in the league position when we were in a position of strength but sadly they didn't. I guess the money saved on Brendan's contract must have been worth it.

It's not an excuse though?! It's an explanation of what we're seeing. A sterile atmosphere that has been created.

I mean the posters around the stadium encouraging supporters to snitch on one another probably adds to the general feeling of sedation. The club have created an atmosphere for fans whereby they feel part of an assembly line, cookie cutter product. It's pure Americanisation at work. If the club thought that they could get away with that hockey style organ leading the chanting 1000% they would.

Every podcast needs a contrarian in order to cover all areas of engagement - he's just arguing to the contrary in order to catch the attention of Leicester fans. Most seasons will have a broader spectrum of contrary thinkers (for example, there are probably more people who will take the 'contrary' position that Man City are on the downward slide) but with us and this season it's very few.

I hope Joey Barton gets tucked into him.

What it does highlight is that any footballer who says 'it's not about the money' lying. Already a multi millionaire but can't turn down a few extra pennies. He's got almost generational wealth at this point (don't forget his father behind him) but couldn't look past the bottom line.

I mean on the bench obviously but went hasn't he featured much? I thought he would have been nailed on starting.

Where has this guy been?!

They didn't. They're just casting about for an excuse to leave early.

Made several bad choices that, in a more competitive game, could have cost us dearly.

There were a couple of points - in hindsight. One was moving to 'The Walkers Bowl'. At the time it seemed like a logical and necessary progression but the archetype of blueprint for stadia that we followed was just not right for the football atmosphere. The second was the very first instance of Americanization of the club. I have the feeling that would be the 'modernisation' of the post horn gallop. No. We don't want fusty old tradition - we want pazzaz! In itself innocuous but the first cut is the deepest. From there it's only a hop, skip, and t-shirt cannon to iron gates at the turnstile, fan cam, and all the other tedious elements of a game that aren't intended to appeal to the demographic who like to sing and shout.

I can appreciate the building to a degree. It's when it becomes about editing little holes that PC players have hot keyed that really saps the fun out of it. No build is a happy medium.

That's sad to hear Lako but ultimately understandable. The club - and I mean the hierarchy - have purposefully cultivated this. There isn't an appetite for loud, raucous supporters at Filbo anymore. Lots of infrastructure and 'match day experience' is driven towards silence and dignified behavior. Maybe it's a Thai thing? Maybe it's corporate perception? But certainly the working of the club over the last decade has been in support of this type of atmosphere. Which is really sad for those of us who enjoyed Filbert Street

Didn't catch this. Doesn't SEEM like the type of player who would be like that.

I understand his comments but they're not well thought out which is about par for the course. There has definitely been a shoe-horning of females into the men's game. The debacle of replacing good pundits on Soccer Saturday with a more 'diverse' panel was a very jarring move. It's fine to object to that kind of tokenistic employment practice. However, his argument that they know nothing about the men's game immediately cancels his objections for very easily argued reasons.
