  1. We have lost FOUR TIMES this season to the worst Man U team in 50 years. This has to be the worst ever Leicester team
  2. disagree about the limbs and away support, i was at Villa away in the home end and was brilliant celebrations when we scored, lad i was with commented on how good our fans were considering our position in the table. Preston Game last season was unbelievable, could give more examples Our home support is absolutely crap though, one of the worst in the league - doesn't help L1/k1 don't add to the atmosphere anymore.
  3. still not a lot coming onto the market in the 3/4 bed region in Charnwood. Maybe due to the stamp duty cut off? people deciding wether to sell etc? Spoke to three valuers and they say it is picking up so can only hope, fine if you want a new build there are plenty out there.
  4. for people who want to go to the game (for reference, i am a ST holder and wont be attending another game this season) if you must go, maybe a planned walked out at a given minute in the game
  5. You lot will still go the United game and leave on 86 minutes
  6. How many goals have we scored in the last 12/13 games??
  7. I have a season ticket and won’t be, but 95% who have a ST including a lot on here that moan will still go I really cannot understand why. Empty seats is the biggest protest
  8. Cov last minute winner as well of course just to top it off, forest getting champions league and cov get promoted. Absolutely ****ing hate this club atm. Anyone who goes to another game this season needs to give their head a wobble. Most horrible team and culture in years
  9. Excellent, thanks for the help. yes, Mars didn't look super clear or big versus the Moon (for obvious reasons) looking at the moon last night was great. Now to find Venus and Jupiter!
  10. Update: it is really nice, one of the best looking EV's out there. But, i expected better interior, i think the RS Etron GT has the alcantara trim and a bit better inside. For a £113,000 car it has similar interior to a standard A4.. but still superior to the Tesla. The parking Camera isn't as clear as the Tesla, the rear window is tiny and also doesn't have the side view camera appear when you put your indicator on. Boot space is tiny. The turning circle a lot better than Tesla obviously very quick and torque seems to pick up where as Tesla is instant. Very heavy 2.3 tonnes but seems to grip around corners, mine is blue but they dark grey/black is a lot nicer. it is a nice change, if I had the option to buy one for £113,000 - i would buy one second hand at a good price, or go for an IX
  11. Ok thanks, as they aren't really painful like last time i will give it just a week off then see how I feel doing a 5km run, maybe mixing it with pavement and treadmill may be better for them as well.. So i have actually bought four pairs because i did a gait analysis and they said i over-pronate slightly. The shin splints came back after using the Saucony speed 4's doing intervals (first time wearing them). I also have asics novablast 5, asics gel kayano 31 which are stability trainers but you can't pick up the pace in them, so i have now bough Saucony tempus 2 which are stability but can run quicker in them, so will probably rotate between them all which will also help.
  12. anyone got any tips for shin splints apart from the obvious rest and ice Never had them but last few weeks have gotten them from increasing my volume too quick i think. Thought i got rid of them but didn't ease back into it, did a slow run then intervals at a quick pace that has caused them again. Anyone who has had them will understand how frustrating it is. They are mild may i add, i completed my 5km slow run but could definitely feel it. annoying as got a Runna plan sorted and meant to be doing Bosworth half and time is ticking
  13. Thank you that is really helpful, managed to get the moon tonight and looks brilliant, craters really stand out more. So do i need to use the finder scope at all? it takes me a while but i eventually got the moon into sight, i take it the larger scope is what you need once you have the object in line? I don't think out of my loft window i can see Jupiter/Venus, are they obvious to find in the sky? i can see Mars as it shines an orange colour but again no luck magnifying it - doesn't really show any detail versus say the Moon (unless I am doing it wrong which is a high possibility).
  14. yea haven't up it this tax year which is stupid of me, will do it for next year
  15. strange question - anyone any good with telescopes? i bought one off Amazon the other day, it was £130 but it doesn't exactly show the stars/planets in much closer up detail than not using it? i haven't tried it on the moon yet as was last week when it wasn't visible much. Do i have to invest in stronger magnification lenses? this is the one i purchased.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Telescopes-Astronomy-Refractor-Telescope-Telescopio/dp/B08T7844LT/ref=sr_1_4?adgrpid=159572245094&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.HjAMcRzwuLjk24zUUYFu5bD8R-X75dZkG0YmkDbHQupf3R9keoQelvMinDVnkbdDkE7T4KUwiFUor10eKyIEAdbtQmFIT3QHorzWn6cqA1_jFvb5PUcgUfaJV7ZpAbFClYKvSFjFbRgWG09noiO_BQBWQkBogD94I5qp6sKixGA0-_gpnleyVNAGZBE63Ah1lj0iCPuPSmYRdDl_8XygZPVlwuG1xK7HArUKDNIjtTc.chpU136pNyqOjPhXiwKyoMM6Rm7Tfd3fPvoom8RCEEY&dib_tag=se&gad_source=1&hvadid=696177792843&hvdev=c&hvexpln=69&hvlocphy=9219239&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=14164294393252200244--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=14164294393252200244&hvtargid=kwd-305972965350&hydadcr=18511_2257244&keywords=telescope%2Bamazon&mcid=2fd03b56af1a3fbb9c9721ed7dce1ba8&qid=1741174155&sr=8-4&th=1 it has really good reviews so was surprised it wasn't very good, it also comes with a small scope attached on the side with a cross in it, no idea what that is for.
  16. i have some money i would like to put into some investment, not really interested in Crypto as over my head and i know it behaves erratically. Any advice for a newbie? at the minute it is just in my savings account doing nothing. I have max'd out 20k in an ISA this year
  17. my Tesla M3 goes in for repairs today due to someone hitting into it, my replacement car - an Audi Etron GT! actually can't wait, they can take their time with the repairs... anyone driven one?
  18. any recommendations for estate agent based around Charnwood who are actually good? we are looking to have our house valued this week/next week and looking to get 3 different opinions.
  19. I watched my partner doing the Leicester 10k at the weekend. Its really interesting as you get a pool of elite's doing 31-38 mins, then you get a small chunk doing sub 45. Then you almost get a but of a gap and get a flood of people doing 50mins - 1 hour. Then again a lot doing 1hr - 1-10. Think it shows how tough doing sub 50 is. In my opinion you have to be well above average to be putting in 45-49 minute times in a 10km if you take an average slice of the UK population
  20. strength training really important, i have made notable differences training legs in the gym once a week but try and do single leg exercises i.e. lunges, Bulgarian split squats etc. then some calf raises, squats, single leg hamstring work
  21. I run it in 45-47 and i will be doing 50 under, you will also definitely get runners who think they will do sub 50 but actually do 55 my ego will take a tanking though as will be near the back.
  22. booked Lisbon for my partners 30th, heard only good things? any recommendations?
  23. always said biggest impact will be don't attend the man u game. You just know some wrong'uns will sell their ticket to Utd fans
  24. Any other fan base the pitchforks would be out and be massive protests. So placid
