Possibly, but they have got the last few Managers sacked or frustrated so I wouldn't bet on it.
-
Many are predicting a rocky ride for Enzo at Chelsea, so presumably they would also be happy that his high risk football has pitched up at Stamford Bridge rather than the KP? Personally, I was dreading watching his experiment flop against Premier League opposition next season and now look forward to the club appointing a more pragmatic replacement. Fingers crossed!

If this blows over and he remains with us, one can only imagine the mistrust and atmosphere behind the scenes in the Boardroom. More and more supporters seem to be getting annoyed with the situation as well. Given it's gone this far it's best for all that Chelsea give him the job and we can all try and get behind someone that actually wants to put Leicester City first.
-
Clearly. All I would add is that Enzo did say that the moment his way of playing was questioned he'd be gone the next day. Either way, glad he sanctioned it or we might well have been in the play offs the way things were going.
-
Perhaps he did or perhaps Vardy's players meeting cajoled a manager that was like a rabbit staring into headlights and was open to persuasion at that moment? Maybe we will never know but the change was almost 180 degrees.

Stan Flashman never asked for ID.

Won't fit our over passing model?
-
Whatever happens, his head has been turned and sooner or later it'll turn again. Really hope that our Board have been doing a Brighton and been thinking ahead of the game because this will happen again. If he's been "interviewed" the best thing all round is that he slings his hook forthwith.
-
Don't think we were but don't quote me on that as it was a long time ago. I was half cut along the side somewhere.
-
Take the compensation and move on. The way some are going on you'd think the situation is like Man Utd losing Ferguson.
-
Another first class post about a proper Leicester Legend. Remember that 1974 Cup run very well as I was lucky enough to have been at every game. Always thought Birch was very under rated due to the likes of Frank, Weller, Shilts, Lenny and the rest.
-
Could be turning into a disaster of a close season. Not because Maresca might be leaving but because history tells us that our Board are slower than snails at making big Managerial decisions.
-
They just scribble these days. Don't know why they bother sometimes if it's such a chore.
-
If they reward Enzo with a longer contract and a mega pay rise then this club has learned nothing.
-
I have a couple of spares. Usually hand them to kids when walking back to my car but the roads were pretty deserted when I left the stadium. Free to anyone if really desperate and prepared to wait as I won't be up Leicester way again until next season.
-
Think I'm not making myself clear. We were superb first half of the season. Peak Enzo. But when we got into a bad run he appeared (to me) to lose his way. Same players, same tactics, same everything. Lose to Plymouth, Bristol City, Millwall etc. and it looked like the wheels were coming off. Along comes Vardy's Meeting and nine points garnered. Could be coincidence or could be something was taken on board by the players that Enzo wasn't giving them? Possession stats dropped but we reversed the decline. Just my observation.
-
Not quite, but there was a distinct improvement following the "meeting".
-
Enzo of course. Easier when things are going well?
-
He owes Vardy a drink. Without that players meeting, which appeared to bring a distinct improvement on the tippy tappy style that got rumbled, we might have been looking forward to the play offs. Shame we reverted back to it against Blackburn once we'd done the job but hey ho!
-
Champions and fair play for that. No better than Wallace, Milne, Little, Pearson or the best of all O’Neill.have done in the past. Jump about as much as you like but finishing the season like that that was beyond poor.
-
Well they can stick the celebration up their arses cos that performance wasn’t good enough. In fact, the Manager needs to be questioned. Would never have happened if a Ferguson or Ancelotti were gaffer. Will be relegated by Xmas with him as boss.

History repeating itself. 10 years ago.

Man of the March by a walking mile. Gets too much stick from people on here that should know better or know nothing.

Whoever wrote it and despite animosity from wherever and for whatever reason, those words are spot on.

See that Enzo Maresca is running in the 6.15 at Bath today if anyone fancies having a flutter on a horse that runs sideways.
