To be honest I think Kristensen is over rated on this forum. He looked uncomfortable whilst on the ball and is not great going forward. Great defensive full back with great energy but not for me.
-
You would like to think his wages will be a bit cheaper than what they would have been if negotiated this summer.
-
I’ve always wondered this about loans with obligations, are the wages agreed in advance for the permanent transfer or once the loan is finished?

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Honestly I would take Ramsdale on loan potentially with a view to a permanent. -
The more I think about our replacement, the more I’m sold that the man has to be Corberan.
-
Do you know what I truly believe our fans would love about Corberan is his post match analysis. It’s honest as honest can come, if the team was poor, he will say they was poor no sugarcoating.

Wouldn’t be shocked if Enzo takes Mads after this snippet from a Percy article… I would take Ramsdale on loan with a view to permanent if we stay up. ”Maresca is already discussing potential transfer targets and will prioritise a new goalkeeper, left-back and forward when the summer window opens.” -
Quote from a recent Percy article regarding his move to Chelsea. “Maresca is already discussing potential transfer targets and will prioritise a new goalkeeper, left-back and forward when the summer window opens.”

I would have to massively disagree with you there if anything recent times have shown that is one area we are massively lacking and end up spending big on players and managers at the peak of their careers resulting in us paying over inflated prices. In fact in the past 5 years the only free agents we have brought in are Ryan Bertrand and Alex Smithies so if anything it is far from the Leicester way.

To be honest, whilst I hear what you are saying about the club I don't think they are penny pinching as much as you may think they are. The transfer of Cannon for example shows they aren't. Whether they should be is a different question and a question I am sure we will all find out very soon. With regards to us not being an attractive proposition, I don't know why you think we are such an awful option. Many, many good managers will do anything to have a chance at the premier league regardless of circumstances just to have a chance to prove themselves in the big leagues. There is a lot of ego's in football management and the majority want to prove they can cope with the best. Are we in a financial situation for the likes of Ten Haag or Mourinho that for some reason people believe to be realistic, of course not. But 4-5m for an entire backroom staff I personally believe is well within the picture. Another thing, do you believe a coach like Corbean would take our job if we hadn't got promoted and remained in the championship? I personally believe he would so if he would be willing to take it in the championship then I have no doubt he will take the job in the premier league.
-
I don't think this is true personally, the club would of made some sort of plans to create money whether that be through player sales etc. The compensation for Enzo was unexpected and would not have been accounted for, paying £4-5m for a new staff team would still leave us £5-6m in the profit. I would like to think the club are not stupid, next season is just as vital as the season just been, I can't see them picking a lesser option for the sake of a couple of million, I genuinely think they would rather sell KDH than go that route. I can not help but realise you are very negative at the minute Fin, everything okay?

I think the relegation season and how poorly the club is run has a knock on effect. I think at times it is hard to get excited because you are waiting for that next element of bad news to come with regards to how the club has been ran. Plus with the awful lack of communication, it is hard to get excited as we do not know what type of summer we are looking at financially. Top that off with small things such as £25 for a season ticket and it all slowly builds up. Personally, that is why I am sad to see Enzo go because whether people like it or not he gave us some much needed happiness as of late.
-
For me he’s the clear man for the job, all his pro’s are we are in need of for our first season back. there’s a misconception that he plays defensive football, which isn’t true. Admittedly, against the top boys he has to sit back a bit and play counter attacking football and takes away the top boys major strengths. Even Enzo said after we played them that they should of won.
-
Are you blind? They battered us and played us at our own game by overloading spaces down the flanks. How they didn’t get 3 points is beyond me.
-
Chelsea told him he wasn’t in the running, I wouldn’t be surprised if Man U stick now and he may just prefer to stay then go for Brighton or they’ve changed there minds and going for Potter.
-
You got intel or just personal opinion?
-
The best and most realistic option all things considered imo.
-
Admittedly he doesn’t play inverted full backs but his preferable style is actually quite attacking. He’s got a lower half championship squad therefore is forced to adapt his play style to have success (sign of a good manager). Interestingly he’s never really hit the ground running anywhere he’s been though and needs time to implement his style. This article will help you understand his play style if you are interested: https://medium.com/@charliebarnicle/the-genius-and-brilliance-of-carlos-corberán-bbf493a8d105#:~:text=Corberán's style is very wing,in what is his breakthrough or a breakdown of his style against us: https://breakingthelines.com/tactical-analysis/carlos-corberans-tactical-set-up-at-west-brom/

This is the best/most logical response I’ve seen on this topic.
-
Mads for me is worth £30-£35m with regards to Winks, Chelsea can find a better play than Winks to play that role but he’s worth around £20m realistically.
-
I would imagine they’re negotiating for him and his backroom staff so it would be an overall fee. Ultimately, they want Maresca knowing his release clause so that alone shows there is an element of them willing to pay it.
-
BS if they offer him the job he’s going. Let’s not talk stupid here.
-
Potter has always stuck to one philosophy when it’s gone right or wrong no?
-
Not a bad shout.
-
Genuine question for those with actual ball knowledge…. What do people see in Graham Potter and Will Still? I don’t feel any excitement in either of them and not to sure on what is with all the hype? Is there something I’m not seeing?
